  Storage #***:I have been using this storage place off and on for at least the last 18 years. I (**************************) usually paid my storage fee on an annual basis, however, as of 9/30/2019 I decided to pay 5 years in advance. I had a five-year plan where I'd finish school the following year in 2020, give myself plenty of time to get a newer and bigger living quarters (2br) for me and my 4-year-old son, and move on with my life. A few months later in 2019, maybe around December, (I'm not sure) "U store it" was sold to a new owner because I saw a new attendant (*****) in the front office of *************. I introduced myself and stated that I was renting storage #*** and from that moment on, I can remember having some brief conversations with her here and there, never having anything to do with my tenure at U store it or anything having to do with any sort of payments due. all of the sudden at approximately, 10:06 am (11/04/22), more than 3 years into my 5 years of payment, almost 3 years from U store it's date of purchase or move in date; I was told that I had owed money to the storage. First, (*****) stated that the payment that she saw in the system showed that I only paid for i year, however, I assured her that I kept my original receipts from U Store it and my credit card payment, and that I would come by the next day and show her the proof. I went there to find a note on office window stating that she (*****) went to post office and would comeback in 15 min. I left and returned twice within a 30 min. span, only to return a 3rd time when I accidentally saw her then returning to the office. I gave her copies of the original receipts and a printout of my card statement showing the date and the exact withdrawal summing up the 5 years, matching that of the original receipts. she would then state that she'd be putting a lock on my storage and that "this owner never loses in court".
