Robert Our Company performed underground utility work at our property at 6 Compass Drive in October 2022. Sometime in January 2023 we lost electrical power to our home because the underground electrical service was damaged. This service was directly buried, not in conduit and both ***************, the local power company as well as our contractor advised us this disruption in electrical service was caused by a nicked wire underground in very close proximity to where the Robert Our Company had done the utility work. During the repair, the contractor who repaired the electrical line, found a Sawzall blade used by the Robert Our Company operator who cut a tree root, which was lying on top of the cut electrical wire where the repair had to be made. No other contractor has performed underground work on our property in the area where the electrical service was damaged. We had to have the electrical service repaired, as a result of this damage, and we provided Mr. ***** Our with The Robert Our Company the invoice for the work associated with these repairs and asked to be reimbursed. Mr. ***** Our asked me to document the issue and send hin the invoice so he could submit the claim to his insurance company, ****************** Mr. ************************* advised me on March 30, 2023 that the claim was being denied and that The Robert Our Company claims they were not responsible for the damage. The Robert Our Company motto, as part of their brand is "Built On Trust". This is the most untrustworthy company I have ever dealt with. Instead of taking responsibility, and reimbursing us for this damage and the necessary repairs, they have lied to us, their insurance company and I highly recommend that they be investigated. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or need any additional information.********************* ************************ ************

7/22/2022: I called Robert B. Our to schedule a ******************* My card was charged $835 immediately after scheduling. 7/29/2022: A crew of subcontractors arrived at our property. The licensed inspector, *********************, was not present. They expressed confusion re: accessing the septic tank. I called Robert B. Our to guide them, since they had performed a passing inspection in 2019. An associate at Robert B. Our told me they had the crew on the phone to assist. My husband was on-site to assist if needed. When ***'s crew left, we had no indication there was a problem. It is a newer septic, had a passing Title V in 2019, & was pumped on December 30th, 2020. Additionally, home showed ********** of failure. The inspection crew told my husband we were "all set" & did not mention any failures or suggestions.8/1/2022: We received a call from Robert B. Our informing us that we failed the Title V inspection. Upon looking at the report, they hadn't even inspected our tank, only the leaching field. And provided no explanation of the failure. Given the high cost for leaching system replacement (quoted at $15,000), we decided to get a 2nd opinion. 8/11/2022: *************************** from ************* arrived and performed an extremely thorough and comprehensive inspection. His degree of expertise and communication skills earned our trust. He passed our system and filed with the town of Harwich.Because the failed (negligent and incomplete) Title V was filed with the town, we were told we must appeal that inspection and that cannot be done until their meeting on 9/20/2022, which greatly complicates the potential sale of our listed house. This situation has caused a great deal of suffering for our family, both financially and emotionally. Our family is relocating out of state for a job and my children start school there soon. We need to sell our house ASAP.We have reached out to Robert B. Our asking them to rectify the problem but they refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing.
