Bringing an idea to life is deeply personal and Invention City honored my vision from day one. Their integrity, business acumen and commitment to my vision inspired me to keep going. Today my sometimes delusional vision is in production-1000 units strong-and I owe so much of this to **** and his team. I am filled to the brim with both gratitude and respect for what theyve helped make possible. I highly recommend them. And to all you entrepreneurskeep going. Service delivered as promised and worth every *****! I bought the basic $185 assessment of my invention and received a thorough review and recommendations for next steps. I was seeking a licensing offer, and, although I got a soft decline, I was also encouraged to refine my product and return with improvements and information. The explanation of why 'not at this stage of your development' made me realize that I was trying to break into a crowded market and I needed a strategy to communicate to potential customers as to why my product was significantly better than the others. I now understand how difficult this might for this product. As a result, the Brutally Honest Report has saved me much effort and money by directing me to the most important thing I need to do next if I'm going to follow this through. Told me they liked my invention but when I told them I had no money to move on sent me to another person saying they were authorized to do so with people with no money but asked me for money to move forward when I said I didn't have any took my idea and never got back to me I wouldn't recommend them at all wish I could leave no stars.Invention City, Inc.

There's a bit of confusion here. This inventor paid us $0 and submitted his invention for licensing consideration under our Free Invention Submission program. Under that program, as spelled out on the submission page, we only respond if we are interested (if we are interested, which is rare, we may offer a deal in which the inventor pays us $0 and we share future revenue). We were not interested. His invention submission remains protected under our Confidentiality Agreement and we are not touching it. There are different ways inventors can contact us designed to meet different needs and goals. This inventor initially contacted us through our services door, where we help inventors on a fee basis with things like prototypes, surveys, intellectual property, videos and so on. When he explained he was interested in a licensing deal and had no money, we directed him to our Free Invention Submission.We offer the Free Submission program because our primary mission is to commercialize inventions and make money WITH inventors - not FROM them. We are always looking for the next great idea. At the same time, we can't afford to engage with all inventors and give useful feedback for free. Another way inventors can connect with us for licensing and also get feedback is through our Brutally Honest Review program. This program is a great value and gives the inventor an opportunity to have a dialog about their invention (and sometimes get a licensing offer). But it's not free.A. R.

Then why do you post if your interested and the party has no money you will pay for all expenses and help with everything free of cost you hit me back about it and obviously liked my idea but just took it and cut me out.A. R.

We didn't take your idea. We're not going forward with your idea. Your invention submission remains protected under our Confidentiality Agreement.Going forward with an idea costs us a lot of time and money. It's a risk that we take only when everything looks great to us. When things look great we offer a deal that costs the inventor $0 out of pocket. That's not common because it's rare for everything to line up and look great. But we do that on average of about once every two ********* the same time, we also offer services - for fees - to help inventors develop and commercialize their inventions. We also offer a service - for a fee - to review inventions and give feedback and suggestions for going *********** have no money so we suggested that you submit through our Free Invention Submission portal. On the submission page we explain that we only respond if we are interested. We do not offer feedback for free because we cannot afford to. We were not interested in licensing your invention so we didn't contact you again. The bottom line is that you paid us $0. 5 starsInventioncity staff did a great job in all areas. Communication updates and follow *** were consistent.The *** was thorough and helpful. I feel *** and **** gave me their best efforts. I enjoyed the inventicator and written feedback. I was a maybe on the inventicator chart. I was provided with suggestions to improve and my weaknesses at this moment. I didn't feel the review was brutal in anyway and provided glimmers of hope moving forward. I don't feel the *** was a NO, but encouragement for my invention journey It was worth the time and money.Review fromAndra J

5 starsIt was great working with **** and his team at Inventioncity, what I like the most about Inventioncity is the honesty and integrity they have, most business will get you in and dont care about the process and leave in limbo, but not here. You only go one step at a time, and if need be youll continue just like I did, even though I got all the way to the last point of the process and didnt get a licensing deal, I was still pleased with what had taken place, disappointed yes I was, cause you always want to see your dreams come true but sometimes you have to get that honest truth through the process and mine ended I wish everyone well with whatever they decide to do at least at Inventioncity you will not waste your time there, they give good direction and clarity as to what you should be doing, trust their process it will save you a lot of head and heart aches.Review fromLatoya S

5 starsPaid for the Brutally Honest Review and got what I needed to understand how to move forward. A no, is a no now, but who knows what can happen if I keep tinkering and evolving my idea. I'm actually glad they gave me the Brutally Honest Answer they did.What I got was a pretty in depth reason why they chose not to proceed with investing in my idea, and it made sense to me. I got enough information, and I'm happy to pay $95 for a NO that also includes steps I can take to get to a YES or simply find another route.They do a lot for the ******************* I'm super glad they're around. The review that I had received from the Invention City on both was implacable, honest and it came in many layers. The answer from the Invention City to both of my inventions was "NO".My suggestion to any inventor is, no matter in what stage of the invention you are, for the purpose of receiving a professional consultation submit your project to Invention City. The feedback you will get from them is "The light at the end of the tunnel".
