    Emerald is so welcoming and I always feel so comfortable there. Everyone is so kind and non-judgmental. All the instructors are always offering modifications and always reminding everyone that it isn't about comparing yourself to others in the class, it's about comparing yourself to yourself and how you're advancing in your practice. I love that attitude. I have learned something new from every teacher I've taken a class with and it's awesome to see how they each approach yoga in their own way but all with that same love of it and desire to spread that love and knowledge to everyone in class. I initially started yoga as a way to strengthen my core and my balance as I got older, but I've found that in addition to those things, it's really helped me emotionally as well. It's so much easier to calm myself down now when things in life start going wild, lol, and it's so much easier to relax with the breathing techniques I've learned. I'm much more at peace with myself since I've started yoga.
