    We purchased a Lennox HVAC through ****** back in March 2018, it was installed by Cool Air Mechanical from Marietta, GA. We do have a PMA with Cool Air. The Heat Pump has had parts replaced and then on May 23, 2023, the evaporator coil in the Air Handler had to be replaced. When the evaporator coil was removed it was completely rusted out. We were charged $1,650.00 for refrigerant which Cool Air Mechanical told ** was not covered under the warranty with LENNOX or through our PMA with them. Something is very wrong with such an expensive item not being covered by Lennox, this was not our fault that the evaporator coil failed. We feel we should be reinbursed by LENNOX for this out of pocket expense that was totally unexpected, we are retired and live off of a fixed income.
