Boston Force is the epitome of what you think of with a shady contractor. My husband and I hired *** from Boston Force to complete a home addition project in *****, **. At the very beginning, *** was attentive, but then we lost trust along the way. He would not provide receipts for materials, saying the lumber cost $30,000, but the week before, the cost was only $20,000. Then came our window order from ****** Building Supplies. *** gave ****** a deposit. We knew our windows/design were above budget, so we met *** at ****** in ******* to give him a check for the difference in windows that he would write out a business check for said amount. ****** ran his check and it initially cleared, then ******* and ****** could not get ahold of him to settle his debt. Essentially stole $20,000. Then before we knew about this, he installed all of our replacement windows while we were away. We come home to rain coming INSIDE from windows installed incorrectly, gaps on top/around the windows, windows installed un-level. At that point, we terminated our contract with Boston Force and had to spend at least $20,000, to repair the errors his team made. When we consulted legal counsel and he got word, he sent my husband a threatening text that "we don't want to do this."Boston Force is a nightmare. Stay far away.

Beware!!! Unprofessional and unreliable!!!This contractor was hired for a commercial project in *******, that involved painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and custom woodworking. The contractor stated that the job was smaller than what he was used to and ensured that it would be done within a month. My partners and I decided to go with this company due to time constraints and his perceived expertise with larger projects. We are now in the process of litigation for $26k because he cashed the deposit check, started a small portion of each project to delay us so he can pursue other projects. He became irate and rude and ignored all texts, phone calls and emails, when we asked for the schedule of when his workers would come by to work, after ghosting us for 1 week. We then found out that the plumber he used for the permit wasnt paid as he stated and decided not to proceed with the job. He sent us copies of the checks he supposedly paid to subcontractors, which was a lie, no one was paid. He has admitted that he owes us the money, but wants us to pursue litigation to get it back. This contractor is inexperienced, unprofessional, and unreliable.
