Dropped off a pair of $800 Italian shoes for a minor stitching repair; outsole was starting to separate in a few small spots and was hoping to catch it before it turned into a biggerl problem.Owner was incredibly rude from the start. Brought in the shoes, he looked at them, pulled out insoles, threw them in a pile of other shoes on a counter, told us 2-3 days. Week goes by, called to check on them, I have some red flags going off due to owner's demeanor, mention that the shoes cost $800. "I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH THEY COST!!!"Another week, stop by Thurs to just take the shoes back. Walk in, the shoes are still sitting in the same spot from day 1 Owner says his son runs the machine but is on a cruise but back soon and shoes would be ready Tues. Insists 'You'll never ever get these fixed anywhere else". Ensures me that they'll come out great and stitching will go "in the exact same holes". Leave them against my better judgement.Phone rings Tues, shoes are ready, but there's a problem. There's only one insole now. Owner insists that we never brought it in. I remind him that I saw him remove it as well as where he put it. Nope. "It's not here. I'll just put one of mine in. An insole is an insole". Seriously? There goes half the value of the shoes. Obviously going to get nowhere with this guy, so go to pick up the shoes, owner is ranting on about the insole. Whatever, just give me the shoes. Get them and they are utterly butchered. I mention the terrible job, try to point out the problems and the owner's son yells at my son and I to "GET THE **** OUT". Words are exchanged and we leave.Get home 10 minutes later the owner calls. Magically found the insole and wants us to bring the shoes back so he can 'fix' them. Not without a time machine.Pictures will be available on my google review of this business.Please take a look and save yourself a $$ and hassle.Terrible shop, miserable people. Completely ruined my shoes.
