  burns co started the job on or around August 11, 2024, end job on September 18, 2024.The job was painting entire house, replacing 30 windows. jacking up back porch, replacing doors, putting door and window in garage. He put the windows in wrong. the doors were put in wrong. Damaged our home. We told him we were making a list of things we saw that were wrong. he agreed. he said he would fix them at the end of the job. when the time came to fix things he said i have been paid. i am done and refused to fix about 27 thing he verbally agreed to fix He insisted on cash payment for everything during the time he worked here. we often asked for receipts for everything he was buying. he kept putting us off. we are missing a lot of receipts for things he bought . He told us he pays for the paint on the house. we pay for labor and the rest of the materials. we trusted him. then we later saw on the invoice which he gave us, that he charged us 8,820.00 for paint. my girlfriend asked him to do something in a certain way he would just ignore the request and do it how he wanted. he put the side door and side window in our garage where she did not want it leaving the garage structurally compromised. the garage side door was damaged and refused to replace it. intimidated my girlfriend to talk her out of doing certain things that we paid him to do. never finished the job. one day he was cutting glass for a window he broke it. he took off. he said that he would be back next day. did not see him for a week or more. i called him to see when he was coming back to finish the list of things we agreed upon. he said i am paid and done you are not going to nit pick my work now. there is a lot more info that i have to tell you when you look into this.

  It was a pleasure working for Mr. ***** and his wife ********. We had a simple contract ****** for a complete exterior restoration / exterior painting. The cost of paint was covered out of my pocket and was included and stated clearly in contract. I replaced 27 windows and only charge customer 200 a window, total cost cost was an additional 5,000. I go above and beyond for all my customers for my business is built on their referrals.I did not charge customers for and this was extra work not stated in contract submitted 

  1. Replacement of all railings with white vinyl 

  2. Installation of 2 bay windows 40 by 40

  3. Painted widows peek 4th floor 

  4. Installed 70 feet of used fencing in backyard 

  5. Ice And Water roofing material of back roof

  6. Installed 2 doors and 2 storm doors 

  7. Installed 6 windows on back sun room 

  Just look at the before and after photos I included in complaint they speak for themselves. They got an amazing job out of me for a very reasonable under market value rate

  Of 35,000

  I received ****** up front 

  And

  ****** upon completion 

  Customers gave me ****** for materials and ***** went to replacement windows.

  They spent about another 4 at ********** on other materials needed to accomplish this amazing job.

  I gave them every receipt 

  The door and window installed in their garage they were not changed for it was an extra that I did as i do for all my customers 

  Mr. ***** call me back to his home and I dropped my tools off to tie up a few minor things. I showed up and he call a witness to supervise me remove my tools and threaten me he was going to take another route 

  I have never had a complaint filed against me and this is without merit and should be dismissed.

  Burns &Co Did not put spindles on front porch hand rails. He said spindles would crack when he cut them so he could not put them in. He said he could do it until the time came to do it then he was unable to follow through. Every window he put in is wrong Some window are the wrong size. Most have no headers, some have insulation on the window sill, others have no insulation .He never installed fencing in backyard he leaned fencing he found on the roadside up against some trees. Did not use ice and water roofing like he told us. He used cheaper rolled roofing material We do not know the cost  because he repeatedly refused to give us receipts. Front door , front storm door, back porch door back porch storm door , garage door and window all installed wrong  8,.He said the paint was free then he charged us ******** for paint. We are  missing a back porch hand railing kit and a front porch hand railing kit We paid for them but they vanished Charged us ******** to put up plywood walls in  back porch. Told me  a price of ********, Then got ******** from my girlfriend because he told her a higher price  for back porch walls never put in plywood flooring like he said he would But he charged us for that. We were taken advantage of because we trusted him.

  Hello I would like to know if this complaint will be on file against Burns & **** All he did in his respond was lie about what he did here at my home. He said F off I will not fix anything I have been paid and I am done. No attempt no resolve anything was done on his part. Please let me know about this matter Thanks ****** **********************
