    Despite my extensive experience in the fishkeeping hobby and my preference for local stores, my encounters with this particular aquatic shop has been far less than stellar. Despite boasting a decent fish selection, the overall experience is marred by their disappointing customer service. For instance, when my son sought to buy two bettas together based on an employee's advice, it turned out to be a misguided suggestion. Additionally, on a different occasion, a significant portion of the fish I purchased didn't survive the journey home. Attempts to address this with the business proved futile, as they responded with a dismissive tone, essentially placing the blame on me. It's disheartening to witness such subpar customer service in a small local business, especially when larger retailers often offer better policies for deceased fish upon arrival. My advice: steer clear of this establishment. Take your business elsewhere.

    Unfortunately, this customer has purchased fish from ** multiple times and tried to get a refund alleging that some of the neon tetras died each time. A few months later he comes back and does it again. We have a least 3 examples of this. He is trying to take advantage of a small business and we are not accepting the scam this time. Fish stores beware of this person. He has now filed a charge back for his entire purchase, which we will also be disputing.
