    I received notice from First Financial Resources about an overdue debt for my step son. Upon follow-up with my insurance company, they confirmed that the debt was paid. Despite communicating this to FFR several times, they continued to call me each week for the past month. Each call they would ask me for information that I had already provided. It was like they had never spoken with me despite several calls and email exchanges.I am now working directly with the company handling the billing to sort the matter out. The FFR customer representatives are not helpful or customer friendly. If you have to work with FFR on a matter, I suggest emailing everything so that you have a documentation trail. I also suggest that you deal directly with any creditors. FFR does no actual follow-up.

    Family member told me that received a call about the debt. However, I never received anything from this company about them trying to collect a debt, no letter not phone call, nothing. Only a family member. Call them and they were rude and unhelpful. Told them this is billed incorrectly and money not owed, and fought about that. So just to make this go away offered settlement and they said no. This is for medical debt and original bill is way higher than what should have been charged in the first place.

    Ffr keeps calling I do not know why I owe nothing and they do not have permission to contact any of my family I get they have a job but they need to leave me and my family alone or I will contact law enforcement for harassment

    I picked one star because I couldn't give negative stars or zero. On July 2, 2024 a representative of FFR contacted one of my family members and released my personal debt information to them on the phone (recorded). I have NEVER authorized them to release this information to anyone at any time but me. I contacted the manager on their 800 number, ******, and asked her why they didn't contact me and she proceeded to tell me lies about how on June 27, ********************** and my line was disconnected. My phone line has never been disconnected and I can and will prove that. I also have asked for transcripts of the phone call they placed to my family member and attempts to reach me via postal mail and phone. ****** also stated that I had listed this family members phone line as a secondary number and I did not and would never list their number. I contacted *******, who was looking for payment, and confirmed with their billing ***** that there is NO record of this family members phone number on my file. I assume they searched online for the connection and made the call but I have also asked for documentation from ****** as to how that number was retrieved. FFR has violated my rights and I will be pursuing it legally and letting ******* know of FFR's HIPPA violation against one of their patients. Seems others have also been violated. Shameful. I have contacted ******* and made my payment. FFR will not get one ***** from me.
