    I am writing this complaint as a first step escalation, for Bez Construction to finish the home addition project. I signed the contract him on 3/25/2024 with over a $55,000 deposit given, and at this point I have given him over $100,000 (80% of the job cost). The permit was approved on 4/17/2024, and the contract states that the job will take 60 days (3 months) from permit approval. At this point, it will be 6 months next week, and the project is not even close to finishing. The area he is adding to was unfinished before he started, so he saw every stud and cable and pipe before even bidding the job. Every week, Bez is unable to even commit to what will be done over the next week, and for a while now, most weeks his crew only comes 1 day a week. Every inspection never passes on the first time and he always blames the inspectors. He is on his 3rd *********** because he is not paying them (what he told me). I also was displaced from my house at the end of May, for 3 months, unplanned, as he improperly planned my project and my family of 8 had to find alternate living arrangements. I have also paid over $2,200 additional out of my own pocket to the *********** to keep the job going. I also had to start taking notes for him, when we have met, because he never remembers what we discussed and doesnt follow up. And often it is clear he has not even read my detailed notes, as we are re hashing the same issues. Every single commitment he has given me, every single deadline he has self-stated, he consistently misses, and missed by a lot. He has even told me on the phone he was physically at ********** buying material for my job, however weeks later there is no material (and he blames the store). He is also installing damaged material into the home and not replacing it (garage door, front door jamb). At this point, I just want him to do what he agreed to do and finish it asap for the sake of our family.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  I contacted both BEZ construction and Mr ****** and sent them this complaint directly, and sent it via certified letter. BEZ continued to ignore my request and not respond to any of my texts or calls.
