1 starPoor service, greedy, want more money for everything. Within one year of installation my heat pump broke 4 times, **** company still think they need to charge us every time they do diagnostics. Avoid ************ at All Costs!I recently hired this company to repair a leaking pump in my A/C unit. While the A/C itself was functioning, the pump had developed a leak. They performed diagnostics and confirmed the pump needed replacement, quoting me $600 for the job. I decided against it and asked them to leave everything as it was.Due to being in an online meeting, I couldn't oversee the process myself and had my relative sign the service completion paper. She signed it, and the technicians left promptly.Fifteen minutes later, we discovered that our A/C was no longer working. It turns out, the workers had broken the central electric panel and were fully aware of it. When we contacted their customer service, they refused to fix the panel, citing the signed paper as proof of satisfactory service. When I mentioned reporting them to the BBB, they dismissively told me to "Go for it!"As a result, we endured a week in mid-July without A/C.Please, please, do not do any business with this company!Obie Comfort Solutions

When our technician arrived, they found that your air conditioning unit wasnt working. Our technician explained the issue to your wife and provided a detailed quote for the necessary repairs. We completely understand that she chose not to move forward with the repairs at that time, and we always respect our customers' decisions by not proceeding without their approval.
Our goal is to leave everything as we found it unless were given the green light to fix the problem. The signed diagnostic invoice confirms that the ** was not operational when we arrived, and your wife acknowledged this.

AC compressor stopped working. Called **** because they had replaced my heating furnace last year and I was happy with the work. I even recommended them to a neighbor who needed heating system replacement!!The diagnosis for AC compressor not working was capacitor change. The capacitor costs about ******************************** was $657. This is outrageous!!I did web search. ****'s estimated cost was up to $365 *** based on 2023 data. Almost double the cost from ****. I would NOT recommend **** for any service. Be aware.Obie Comfort Solutions

Long story short, Obie Comfort Solutions sold me a heat pump that did not function as promised and ultimately had to be replaced, and they have done nothing to remedy the situation.In the spring of 2021, I decided to replace my old gas boiler with a heat pump. This was on the advice of an **** technician who assured me that the heat pump could serve as the primary heating source for my entire home, which had existing ductwork in place. Unfortunately, the unit turned out to be an improper fit. That winter, the pipes on the first floor froze during the coldest days, and I had to turn the old boiler on. I had been planning a major home renovation anyway, and at that time ************ technician told me that when the renovations begin, they could address some of the issues with the ductwork. In winter of 2022 we began the renovation, and my contractor reached out to **** to see about remedying the issue. The technician I had originally worked with had since left the company, and my contractor was never able to reach a senior person at **** to find a solution. Whats more, my contractor determined that the heat pump **** had sold me was improperly sized for my home in the first place. For several weeks, we were unable to reach a senior person at **** to talk through the issue, and **** offered no solutions. Ultimately, I went with my contractors advice and replaced the 2-year-old heat pump with two smaller heat pumps in two locations in the house. I managed to reach the companys owner, ***********************, a couple of weeks ago. After explaining the issue, which he said he was unaware of until then, he said he could provide me with some compensation to make things right. However, he has not since responded to my emails or text messages. I paid $13,555 for a heat pump and installation, and heat pumps typically last 15 years. The unit I was sold never properly heated my home, and despite many, many attempts, Obie Comfort Solutions has not made it right.Obie Comfort Solutions

I used Obie Comfort Solutions to install my new heating system close to five years ago. I recently had an issue with my system not heating. When a tech finally arrived at my home, it took them two hours to diagnose what they believed to be the issue-- a thermostat that they installed 5 years ago. I was charged $465 for a replacement thermostat, which seemed unreasonably high, but I paid for it expecting it would resolve my systems' issue... it didn't. I had to call back a week later. The tech that came identified a new issue, with the new fix resulting in an additional $836 charge for a $366 part and 20 minutes of labor! I expect that if the first solution did not resolve the issue, I should have been credited. I do not feel comfortable with the work Obie Comfort Solutions has provided and am waiting for them to honor their money back guarantee (https://www.obiecomfortsolutions.com/company-****-comfort-solutions/). I should not have to invest this kind of money on a five-year old system that they provide to me like new.Obie Comfort Solutions
