    On 6/6/2022 I contacted Metro Eye Docs (DBA *************) for lens replacement in my existing frames. As I had used the company in the past with great satisfaction, I sent my business to them again. What I received back wasn't what I expected. Firstly, due to shipping errors on their end, I did not receive them back until 8/4/2022 - previously I had them back within the 2-week timeframe specified under their FAQ page. Secondly, the lense colors did not meet my expectations but I could live with that provided I was able to wear them. Lastly, and the deal-breaker for me, is that the products they returned to me were rendered utterly useless because of the damage to my frames. Frame 1) The ***** frames are $289. These glasses, which were previously adjusted to that I could wear them effortlessly for activities, no longer stay on my head. The stems are stretched way beyond the width of the frames and I cannot wear them without them continuously falling off.Frame 2) The *** BAN frames are $190. These glasses are also stretched beyond their frame, and I can't wear them, either. Additionally, the new lenses don't even stay in - they fell out immediately - so I can neither keep them on my head or the lenses in the frames.I made numerous phone calls leaving voicemails and emails over the next 12 days which went unanswered. When I finally received their response on 8/12/2022 I was told that they would refund the cost of my lenses less a 20% restocking fee - provided I returned the lenses at my expense. They did nothing to acknowledge that they damaged my frames. I sent a follow-up email and made a follow-up phone call on 8/12/2022 which they have since ignored.I expect to be compensated for the cost to replace my frames - $479+ $40.72 for CA sales tax = $519.72, and because the damage was done because of your heavy-handed services, I expect to be compensated for the total cost of the replacement lenses $407.82. The company owes me a total of $927.54

    The business has responded that they would refund the eyeglass lenses, but they again stated that they have no responsibility towards the replacement for the damage to my frames. I remain dissatisfied. Not only have I spent months without wearable eyeglasses, I now have to (1) return the lenses at my own cost for a refund of the lenses, and (2) I have to purchase new frames to replace the frames they damaged.
