    City Compost charged us for the month of October for weekly compost pick-up services, but we did not receive any service for the week of October 2 and also October 23. After the missed service during the week of October 2, I e-mailed AND texted **** (the owner of City Compost) multiple times. He kept saying "Yes, it will be refunded", but no refund has been made to this day. And today is November 16, 2022. It's been more than a month since my first refund request, and we want the refund immediately. We cancelled our service at the end of October, because we have moved from ** to **. **** charged us for the month of November, although I told him we were moving to **. In order to notify the cancellation of service, I filled out the form through the City Compost web site (because **** instructed me to do so), and also texted him to remind. I complained about the charge for the month of November, and he did give us immediate refund for that, but still, no refund for the month of October has been made to this day. I am getting *really* tired of contacting him to request the refund. When I contact him, he keeps saying "I need to review the service record" but it's been more than a month since my first refund request. HOW MUCH MORE TIME DOES HE NEED before giving us the refund? This is unacceptable. Reliable businesses give us refund immediately, when they cannot deliver the service they promised. I am also appalled that my complaint is the 30th complaint through BBB. That's a LOT of complaint.
