    At the end of March 2024 we paid a deposit of $2,500 to Mr. Fowler to paint the exterior of our home. He advised us for months that he was going to do it soon, but did not do the job. In mid-July we requested our deposit back. He then said he did not have it yet but that he'd get it to us in the beginning of August, August came and went with no money returned to us. Finally in mid-September he provided half of the deposit saying he would have the remainder to us in another week. When that week came he again said he needed more time. It's now been a full month since the first half of the deposit was paid back to us and we have not been able to reach him in over 3 weeks. It's been over 6 months since we gave him the deposit.
