    I called Jerrys auto service on 6/17/2022 for an oil change and break repair scheduled on 6/23/2022. My car was dropped off at 7:30 am on 6/23. The owner said he would call to inform me of the scope of repairs before any work was done to the breaks. After not hearing from the business, I called at 3:21 pm, at which time we reviewed repair options. I called back at 3:55 pm and left a voicemail detailing the repairs Id like completed, which was the front right pads, caliper, rotor and the front left pad and rotor. Again, not being contacted by the business on 6/25, I called at 2:41 pm to request the status of repairs, but had the leave a voicemail asking the business to call me back. They did not. On Monday 6/27, I called at 7:46 am. No one answered the phone. I called again at 9:09 am, at which time a mechanic answered and informed me that no repairs had been done on the breaks. He also said his boss was not yet at work and asked if Id like to leave a message for him. I asked for his boss to call me. I called again at 10:49 same day and left another voicemail. I spoke to the owner at 11:43 am on 6/27. I again reviewed the repairs that I would like to my front breaks. He requested a deposit of $300 because of the age of the car. When I questioned this he said its because the value of my car is less than the value of the work being done but he also noted that he was not sure of the value of my car. He then said that he would have the repairs completed either 6/28 or 6/29 because he still needed to order the brake parts. I expressed my dissatisfaction that my car had been in their possession for 5 days without the brake repairs being completed.

     Tell us why here... We are very sorry if you were dissatisfied with our service, we work very hard to keep our customers happy  and their car safe to drive however, we have been experiencing a staffing problem as of  the last six months. We have tried relentlessly to fill those gaps but sill have not accomplished that goal. We are trying very hard to adapt to this new business environment that is currently in motion and, we are also struggling with people out sick due to the covid virus. This is not an easy task and also brings along a lot of frustration. We hope that our customers will be understanding to our situation and we will continue to work hard to overcome these obstacles. We hope you will do business with us once again with a new understanding.
