      Patriot Paving was hired in March 2024 to replace a retaining wall and driveway at my rental property in Worcester MA. . They subcontracted out for the retaining wall with ***************************************, also out of ********* MA. The wall was erected but placed 1 foot onto the neighboring property, which cost an extra $4000 to move. After that was paid and moved, the City inspector came and stopped work because there was no permit pulled for the wall, as it is over 4 feet high. This happened in May 2024, and as of today (11/22/24), no work to remedy this has been done. After months of text messages and calls, ********* Construction confessed to me that he/they do NOT have a General Contractor's License, which is required to do any retaining wall work. Both Patriot Paving and ******************************* have promised dates of machinery delivered to the property to fix the situation but it never comes to pass. Many times I have been told that the permit is coming or has been taken care of, but this has always turned out to be lies. I offered that the driveway be lowered in height and the wall be brought down in height to avoid a need for a permit and it was agree upon that this will happen, but all i receive are promises of days and times when the machinery will be on site but it has yet to happen.

      On 9/24/2024 Patriot was supposed to come and seal coat my driveway. They showed up and did the job. I am supposed to not drive on it for 48 hours. I was planning on going away on vacation so I left. I returned a week later. Took down obstructions preventing driving on driveway to find the drive was splotched everywhere and different colors. The job was clearly not done right. The MAJOR issue is all over my house and garage is speckled black with the coating. HUGE issue for me. I reached out to owner with pictures. His response is **** detergent should remove it, I should not have to do this. I notified him that I won't be cleaning this and he said he would have someone come down and reseal and clean. I asked when and he didn't respond. One week after this, he said he would be coming down to do the job the following day, which would be 10/8/2024. No one showed up to correct. I stopped payment on check. I want my house cleaned. I do not trust this company to reseal. I am willing to take this to small claims as my house and garage all along the house is a mess. I also tried some detergent to clean and nothing came off.

      Patriot Sealcoating and Paving gave us an estimate on 2-24-2024 to repave our driveway for $4800.00, we agreed and put down a $100.00 deposit. He contacted us on June 4, 2024 that he would be coming to do the driveway .We noticed an area cracking on July 21st. We took pictures and sent them along to him on Aug 7th. We did not hear from him and I called Aug 15 th to check in and ask him if he would come and look and what he was going to do to fix it . He got very upset and became rude , nasty and wished to speak to my husband . My husband heard the whole conversation and I didnt let him talk to him , figured it wasnt a good idea . My husband did call him the next day and he told him that I went off on him , which my husband said no it was you , I was standing right there . We sent another set of pictures Aug 22 , the crack continued , he had said he never checked them and he stated he was too busy and never had checked the pictures the 1st time . So we figured to give him the benefit of the doubt , so we sent another set , and recalled again , left a message . On Sept 3 my husband called and left a message again . On Sept 7 *** called at 11:30 and said he would come later that afternoon. No show ! My husband called and got him on the phone Sept 18 , he would be by the following Monday the 23rd. Again no show !! We would like our driveway fixed , after living here 30 years , it a big deal to save and have it repaved!! This is no way to treat people , who have done business with you and then have a problem . The phone number for business is *************.

      We were in contact with *** of Patriot Sealcoating in the spring of 2022. We had a written contract in July 2022 with Patriot Sealcoating and Paving to pave our driveway in ******* with a deposit provided. In the specifics, it indicated that the driveway would be sealed within a year's time. There kept being delays for a variety of reasons, but the driveway was ultimately paved September 15, 2022. Since no one was there when he finished the job, he asked that I go to ********** to another client's house to personally drop off the check in the amount of $14,800 ck # **** from ****** ***** (my mother). He was very intense about needing the check. I called him in June 2023 to ask about sealing the driveway. He said he had deaths in the family (all this information is on a text chat). I kept following up and asking for a date to sealcoat, and he kept pushing me off - said the rain was a problem. I texted him in September, October and November 2023 with NO response. I finally spoke to him on May 31, 2024 to make a plan to seal the driveway on June 8th, but he never showed. When I texted him, he said he couldn't do it and that they were "behind schedule." I was informed on June 9, 2024 that they only seal on the weekends (which is limiting for weather reasons). He told me via text "that he would get it done." I texted on June 15, 2024 to ask about a date and said I would give him a bad online review if he didn't do it. (this was almost 2 years after the initial paving). He wrote back "don't threaten me, I did a good job on your property...." Then there was radio silence. On July 12, 2024 I called but his mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. I texted and wrote "I want to get this sealing done this summer." There has been no communication since that time. He's claiming that he's giving me a "free sealing." We paid a lot for the driveway and want him to fulfill his obligation. It's ridiculous at this point.
