    For 2yrs now i have been a lawn doctor customer even though i did not sign up for lawn doctor services. The company has been charging my card and cutting corners on service of spraying the yard with pesticides On at least 4 different occasions their servicemen came to our driveway, played on their phone and left without servicing the yard. On one occasion they sprayed while my dog was outside without permission I tried multiple times to cancel their service because the customer service was very inefficient and incompetent and inconsiderate but they claimed and demanded money for cancellation On 7th May i asked for no spraying on my property as we were going to be outside. They did not reschedule the spray and demanded money for that days spray. When i asked for the rescheduled date they said they did not have any time to come and spray my house. Last year they did the exact same thing and charged me an extra $80 for February when NO ONE sprays It has become frustrating to figure out how to get out of this dark pattern where your card gets unfairly charged

    Our monthly budget billing program can be confusing for some people, and after many attempts to explain the new billing strategy (dividing the full season amount due into 12 monthly payments) her monthly payments were refunded and the account was closed.

    Lawn Doctor was called to seed my lawn. They did not come out until several weeks later after the first frost and nothing germinated. I called to have someone inspect it and the Lawn Doctor representative agreed nothing germinated and he would re-seed in the spring. Due to several years of the same issues I stated I did not want to continue business with them. I would pay for the other services completed but not the seeding. I have this all in email. A year went by and they started sending me bills again and sent me to a collection agency for a bill they agreed to waive. No one will pick up my call or talk to me on this matter however I have all the documents in an email.

    I have reviewed this account and complaint.  I see that on 3/19/21 we received an email from the customer discussing the outstanding amount.  It appears they were dissatisfied with their core aeration with overseeding. It appears that over the next 3 months we emailed and called her numerous times, and at some point offered to split the difference with her.  Our guarantee is we will come back and redo the service, if you are still a customer.  Because she was not, our guarantee didn't hold. However, as a courtesy, we offered to write off 50% of the $240 cost of the core aeration with overseeding. We continued to call and email and mail the outstanding amount without any response.  Because we never heard back from her, it was sent into collections in July 2023.  At this point, I would like to write off the amount.  I feel we have been honest and upfront, however, because she was unhappy with the services provided, I would have preferred to have written off the amount when she canceled.  Since we were unable to discuss this, I'm sorry that this was taken as far as it was. As of today, August 21, 2023 ************ will not have a balance anymore and we wish her the best of luck.  Thank you.

    Lawn Doctor has been sending unsolicited mailings to my address that are not welcome and I would like to stop.I sent an email to ****************************************** on 2 April 2023 to request the same, but I never received a reply and the junk mailings continue.On 15 April, I sent a clear, detailed message via ******** message and received a reply that was not helpful:"Hi, Thank you for showing interest in Lawn Doctor! We've received your message and appreciate you reaching out. We will be in contact with you shortly!Please provide an email and phone number for point of contact."Without having any success using these means of communication, I am forced to file this complaint.

    We have marked you as "do not market to" however, unfortunately, all of our spring mailing lists were sent prior to this and any mailings for this Spring, you will probably still receive. No future mailings will be printed.  thank you
