I brought my car to be repaired, the engine light was on and code reader said it was misfiring on coil 3. The mechanic at garage evalulated, ***************** called me and told me the coil and spark plugs needed to be replaced and that it would be cheaper for me in the long run to do all 6 and I gave him permission to do so. When I picked up the car the code reader was still attached, but he said it was fixed. I took home the car and it was still not running right, just no engine light on. I called him the next day because after opening the hood, then never put the cover back on the engine. I brought it back the next day and told him not running, he told me to get injector cleaner and it should be fine. I took to a jeep dealer after a couple weeks and changing gas twice. Well there I told them that the coils and spark plugs were already replaced. They then said if those were done, then it must be fuel injectors. When the problem was still there, the mechanic looked at coils and told me they were never replaced The originals were still in the car. I gave them permission to replace. When I went back to ***************** he told me I was a liar. I have the original coils from the dealership. I have attached the computer reading from the dealership and the service manager info to discuss the fact that ***************** never did the job he charged me for and refuses to refund my money. I would like a full refund. By right I feel he should be paying the dealerships bills since not only was it difficult with the dealer at first because I kept saying the coils and plugs were done, when ***************** did not actually do the work.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  What is the next step?  He said he did a job he clearly did not and I would like to receive my money back.

    Thank you

I should be refunded the full amount due to the fact you never put the coils in the car. It doesn't take a few tries if your a profession business and you know what your doing.    The dealership proved it from pulling original coils from the car.   Main Street Auto never did what they said they did yet took my money.   The car was still not running right.   Why would I take my car back to a garage that said they did something and was caught lying.   I am sorry, but since the coils were really fixed the car is running beautiful.   If you did what you said you did in the beginning we wouldn't be here.  I would like a full refund or I will take further action.

    Regards

complaint number ********. And something to do with the ignition code for the Jeep. So we we did buy new ones and we install them for the vehicle. And then the problem eventually hope I thought this was solved when she left the garage. But and I wish she came in here before she went to the dealer. And because we do guarantee our work. And then I have the receipt that proves that we install the new coils and a new spark lugs. So therefore there is no refund. Thank you, bye bye
