5 starsInsight Solar installed a 19.2kw system with two SolarEdge batteries. Insight was able to work with my situation to help find the most cost effective and efficient solution. Leah was a great resource and the install team was great. I have constant outages in my area and the batteries keep my family safe and with power during blackouts. In Dec 2022 I had a ground mounted solar array and LiPo battery backup, installed by Insight Solar (now Insight Energy Systems as they currently offer hydro-electric systems too), activated and connected to the local power grid, that is supplied by ******** ****. Components:? (30) Hanwha GmbH Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10 - 400 solar panels (peak 12 kWp)? (2) SolarEdge LiPo batteries, totaling 19.8 KWh ? 10 KWh SolarEdge DC Inverter & Buoy ? Third-party Pearl Certification With NetMetering I currently have a +$1,418 credit and through *********************************** Credits over $2K in payments and incentives, in 2023 alone. The only months that I don't overproduce are November, December and January, which is expected given the shorter winter days and lower angle of the sun. I haven't paid an electric bill since March 2023. To date (10/29/2024) the Lifetime Output is 23.1 MWh, with Lifetime Consumption of 18.8 MWh.

Insight solar are liars. It's been a year with Solar now. I've waited a year to write a review and see how everything shook out. So far I'm slightly net-positive for going solar (because of the ONE TIME federal tax credit). However, NOT WORTH IT, if I could turn back time and not do it I would. Before you move forward with solar, my two cents:-there WILL BE a lien against your home -they will lie/inflate about savings to sell you panels -work with your tax professional BEFORE you start working with solar installers -DONT USE INSIGHTInsight Solar
