    The owner of this business is *********** Adair, we know of him because of links to a close friend and since our normal contractor was booked solid we thought we would reach out and give ***** some work and a chance to grow his small business. Since I'm currently having cancer treatments we don't have the time or bandwidth to deal with these small jobs ourselves, so this seemed a good plan. So far, hiring ***** has cost us $608.58, in a deposit we paid which no work has been done. I wrote him that check on 6/4, he cashed it on 6/5 and made every effort to avoid coming to do the job he had contracted to do. When I say every effort, I mean that each week when he was to come work he had a sophisticated excuse not to be here but promised to come the following Friday when yet another excuse was made. We're so shocked by these actions. I don't know how he can make peace with taking this money from a family that is currently dealing with cancer. We tried to help help him build his business, and in return he stole our money during the most stressful time in anyones life. We don't believe he has any intent to return this money because he is silent when texted and does not take our calls.
