    I had a new heat pump system installed on 12/14/23 as part of the Mass Save program. I didnt personally select the **** companyI worked with **** *******, an HV** consultant from Revise (a Mass Save partner). When the technicians arrived for the installation, I was surprised to see vans labeled DiPietro Heating and Cooling. I was never given a choice to select a local HV** contractor, and after reading reviews, Im honestly shocked this company is still in business.The problems started less than a year after installation. In October 2024, I realized the heat wasnt working. Since it was still under the 1-year warranty, I called and a technician came to fix it. In April 2025, it failed again and I was charged $290 for service. Just two weeks later, another technician had to come backthis time, he discovered the thermostat wasnt even properly connected, a basic setup mistake that shouldve been caught during the install or first *********, in mid-June, I tried to turn on the ** for the first time this season and it's not working again. When I called, I was told it would be another $200 for a service visit.This is a brand-new system, and Ive had multiple issues in just six months. I no longer feel confident in their workmanship or diagnostic skills. Its frustrating to have paid for a new system and already be dealing with recurring issues and mounting service fees.I hope this review helps others ask more questions, especially if going through Mass Save or working with a consultant. If I had known the installer would be DiPietro, I would have asked for alternatives.

    I took my time and gave this company multiple chances to come around just because I had a great experience working with their (Revise Energy) Sales person, ****, who seemed extremely knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. But, once I crossed over to service - DiPietro- the experience was extremely disappointing. They did an oil to gas conversion and a tankless/instant system install. 2 years down the road, the totally new super top of the line gas furnace was all rusted inside which caused further issues with the starter (or something similar- priced over 600 to fix) and just flooding the finished basement (lots of replacing of floor and subfloors). Not to say that the system itself is loosing a lot of air as it was not taped correctly despite my multiple calls for them to fix and assurance I have received multiple times that its all good now!. Also, despite all the business I have been given them (even if I shouldnt considering they caused these issues due to bad installs), when I was in need, they didnt even offer the slightest discount for a service call (it was 300 dollars to restart the system just so that we had the system stopping again because the tech didnt even complete all the resets and pump for water shut down and turn off the system completely again in some hours - another crises at our end that - this time we troubleshoot on our own as the tech didnt even respond to texts for a while). Just save urself time, stress and $ and avoid servicing with this company
