  .Service tech said I needed 3 lbs. of coolant immediately to prevent major damage to my system,quoting $537 for basic service, $949 to check for leaks and $1,349 for a complete service. I had a tech from the company who installed the 6 month old system come the next day. He said that the coolant was fine and that no services were necessary. I canceled my contract with Rodenhser when it expired.

  Ridiculously overpriced. I had 2 Rodenheiser electricians in to replace 3 light fixtures, which I supplied. They charged me over $1200 for less than an hours work. In the invoice provided they used the word "minor" to describe what needed to be done. I know it was a minor repair job because I've replaced light fixtures in my home similar to the ones they installed for me. I feel like I was totally ripped off. Shame on me for accepting the quote and for not doing the work myself. I'd give them one star, but don't want to malign the electricians. They were prompt, friendly and did what was asked of them, albeit for an incredibly exorbitant price. I absolutely wouldn't recommend using them for any kind of "minor" repair jobs.

  We have a Rodenhiser heating system, installed two years ago. We always pay for the yearly service appointment, but when there is a problem - they put us on an "Emergency List" and may or may not come. Last year, it broke down and *********** came and fixed the problem. Today - on 1/15/24 - I called Rodenhiser after the heating system broke and spoke to ******* who said we were on a list but said there was no guarantee Rodenhiser will get to us. Rodenhiser has very poor customer service skills and once they put a system in, they do not follow up, when there is a problem. Do not choose Rodenhiser for anything.

  The requested work was completed by one man(left basin basket strainer replacement and approximately 3 inch long plastic tailpiece) in 35 to 45 minutes for a whopping $485.00.Before departing, ****** called to say the basket strainer/tailpipe was replaced but the sink was draining slowly. Tenant called after dinner to say both kitchen sink basins were full and not draining. I called Rodenhiser the next morning, left a live message with the call center. Got a call back from ******(the plumber who was there the day before) stating he was on his way. I asked how per hour. It was now he and an apprentice, cost 300 per hour.. Told him to go pound sand.Went there after work tonight. SIMPLY REMOVED THE **TRAP NUT, disconnected the pvc threaded couplings in order to make room to insert a plumbing snake, and was done in one half hour. Zero cost, full flow. Either the tech knew not his trade or thats their modus operandi.Wouldve hire the again, and nothing of a technical nature.
