    In the last 6 months I have used Nicholson for Plumbing, ***************************** services and have been very satisfied without any issues. **** *. installed a toilet, water cutoff valve and replaced my 75 gallon gas vent water heater. He brought up my system to be compliant with the latest building code, Will tuned up my Lennox central air conditioner and cleaned the outdoor coil. *** *. installed a whole house ******* Surge protector and replaced some electrical outlets that he deemed needed to be replaced.All work included before and after screen shots of the work before and after it was completed.     Installed two HVAC units in my house, one of which has had ongoing problems. They claim they can't get parts and I just have to wait until a part happens to arrive. The satisfaction guarantee is a joke.

    *******, The HVAC technician did a great job in getting the new central ac up and running. He figured out it was a fuse that was blown not the electric circuit board. He also took the time to answer my questions after he made sure he checked the air handler didnt need a filter and was working fine. He also checked the correct amount of Freon in compressor.

    We are extremely pleased with the work performed on our old house! On time, clean, friendly and explained everything first. The job was done quickly and we no longer worry about those leaky valves! Very fair prices as well! We will continue to have Nicholson as our Go-To and would absolutely recommend them!     It feels like my home alone is funding their numerous billboards on Route **** 2017, we purchased a brand new seven-head ********** heat pump system from Nicholson, costing approximately $27,000. After installation, one room never cooled properly from the start, and without fail, the system broke down every summer, usually during the hottest week. In the past three years alone, weve spent over $14,000 maintaining a system that is barely seven years old, and we know there are additional invoices weve lost track of in-between 2017 and 2022 after the merger. Just 30 days after paying $4,500 to fix yet another issue, the entire compressor on that very same unit failed. This comes just two years after we had to replace another compressor within the system and pay for the labor as well. How can TWO compressors fail in under seven years? Its either due to incompetent technicians or lemon systems being sold. Our system has now been down since August, and Ive had to follow up several times to get the same answer Part is still in transit. And yes, we typically use our system for heat. So now on top of all these expenses weve incurred to try to keep this system running, were burning more oil than we ever have - $700 a month. The entire reason we installed mini-splits was to avoid burning expensive oil. (Yes, we have solar.)Theres zero urgency on their part. Theres no timeframe to get this fixed for us. It feels like one big shoulder shrug. This used to be a family owned company that cared about their ************ the meantime were still waiting. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

    The plumbers were very knowledgeable and very down to earth. They will be coming back to install a kitchen faucet. Any time I have an issue with plumbing I will call again. They were also very efficient.

    This company has terrible follow through. I recently agreed to install a new AC unit after their team came out and assessed what I would need. My home is 2 stories with AC throughout with a thermostat on each floor. The installers were pleasant but at the end of the day, only my first floor worked. They could not figure out how to make the upstairs work and had to have a manager come out the next day. He claimed that I was quoted incorrectly for the work and proceeded to order duct work to get the system to work upstairs. That took 2 weeks to come in. We scheduled a time for them to come back an install. Again, the team was here all day and when they were complete, the upstairs didn't work. We were told that we would need an electrician to come out and run a wire because our wiring is outdated. (The wiring is the same for both floors and downstairs works but ok.) I had to chase them to get this scheduled. They were supposed to come out this morning and called to cancel because they "are out of wire". Electrical is part of their everyday business so I highly doubt they are out of wire or couldn't get some this morning to get the job done. Buyer beware. They have shady practices and it is at the hands of their management. The installers and schedulers are stuck delivering bad news that the managers are incapable of discussing with the customer. This company should not be allowed to operate this way. I've reached out to the president of the company 2 weeks ago via linked in and no response and calling the organization only gets me a dispatcher.
