Stay away / run as fast as you can. First off, Precision Door advertises to make themselves to look like a local business. They are not and are owned by a large conglomerate from ****, **. If you need a minor repair, they will upsell you immediately on all new equipment and doors. They will also charge multiples for basic parts like cabling and cast iron pulleys. Moreover, they will never show you an itemized invoice unless you demand it. Managers will justify these costs on inflation, cost of advertising and keeping parts in their trucks. Dont fall for it and beware of the tech's ipad

The Precision Door Service contract is raising some red flags for me. Precision Door Service requires their contract be the sole form of agreement. I am required to agree to their contract by submitting an electronic signature, but they will not provide me with a document signed by a representative of their business. They require a deposit of 50% prior to the start of work. Although the contract states this deposit is refundable, I have no more than three business days to cancel the agreement, in order to have my deposit returned to me.This three-day deadline expires well before their estimated start of installation work.

I purchased my garage door approximately February 2022 and I have had to continue to call them due to the door continuously going off track and the rubber under the door sliding out. They continue to tell me that those items are not under warranty but, after purchasing a door for $4100.00 and only a little over year having it and having to contact them for the same problem is ridiculous. Every time they come out I am charged $95.00. That doesn't include any work they do to rectify the situation. I have asked to speak to a supervisor on several occasions, only to be told they will contact you and never do. I should have just went with Lowes, they have better customer ********************** than this.

They sold me an electric gate across my driveway and installed it. It has never worked properly. I had a 1 year warrantee . They promised to continue beyond the warranty because of all the issues. However, they started ghosting me a few months after warranty expired. They had numerous communications with the gate manufacturer and replaced several parts. I found out my gate really has a 2 year warranty from the manufacturer. They think it is a sensor issue. The gate continues to have problems but Precision no longer is returning my calls to assist.

Worst experience ever. Was told of the trip fee but not the added gas fee. Were charge $80 for absolutely nothing!! Came for broken springs but the technician wasnt going to climb around a table and generator in the garage. My husband asked for the technician to given him a few minutes to push them out of the way but he said no I am not waiting. Took the $80 and left. Said we needed to reschedule. Needless to say we got the door repaired by a better more professional company that worked around the items in the garage. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

Prior work done by this company carried a warranty, but after recent malfunctions in the door the serviceman stated none of our repair needs fell under the warranty and the >$800 spent 2 years prior. He gave an estimate of $1269.00. We sought another comparison and received a new opener and installment for <$650. Based on two experiences with Precision I find them to be overpriced.
