    I sent them pictures of my tape measure with the clock motor and told them I had already bought 3 others that were too small. I received an email back with a picture of the motor their "experts" recommended. I emailed back and said that motor shaft looks short but if your "experts" said its right I will trust it. Well... it was too short. When I emailed them to tell them of the issue they sent me some standard email that said something like," that is the only motor of that type, the measurements were on the website". So I told them, "I didn't go to your website so how would I know? Your "expert" recommended it". But just received the same ol email. This was first experience and my last. I'm out $30 due to their mistake. They knew they sent the wrong one. In this new world of distrust this place is no different. No integrity, and no pride in what they do.

    Bought a new replacement Hermle 451-033 works foe my grandfather clock. 3yr warrenty. Ran good for a month or two then started going off for the first quarter at 7 min after the hour. Returned it got it back annd it done the same thing. Mr S*********** insists something on front of works binding. I found nothing binding. Something inside the works is binding it has to be. Anyway, no offer to send it back to factory. 400.00 set of works and clock still doesn’t work correctly. I have another 30 yr old clock to replace works in but from the looks of things it will mot be bought form Clockworks. Really disappointed in these folks and Hermle’s warrenty service.

    Received defective QU40. Described issue, emailed pictures of issue, was told online not their product, send more pictures. No response to pictures of front and back.Called 800 support on Monday and same person now on phone but she could not find pictures.FINALLY she says replacement will be mailed **** that evening. Deceptive web pages, no customer support, and products made in China. BEWARE!

    They sold me a $5.19 habor freight product for $18. They have a policy of no returns under $20. I dont beleive thats legal in **************, a 30 day return policy is the state law. Big rip-off

    Clockworks *** is a convenient place to obtain clock related items. Just as any retail or specialized industry the products of course can be found for less with some digging. We offer encouragement and information to the clock hobbyist as a one spot portal in exchange for some profit. It is stated this on the website, in fact it is provided in some spots where it can be found for less right on the product description itself. This order was already been refunded yesterday, please keep the product no charge and have a great day.*****
