    On August 1, 2022, Clearwater Industries responded to a Septic system alarm. They installed a new *** Rhombus control unit and new floats charging us $1300-(new control panel =$740)-invoice #***** paid by check #****. On 8-23-2024 ******************** *************)came out to pump out our system cost $700 pd **** Credit. The driver found the tanks full and told us there is a problem with the control box.. He opened it, the alarm was not working and rust/corrosion was the problem and I should call our electrician. I immediately called *****************. I took pictures of the box before **** arrived. **** came out immediately and said the *** RHOMBUS box needed to be replaced and that the existing box was not installed properly. The wires should NOT come into the box from the top but brought in from the bottom. He and his assistant installed the new box for $1533.48 - (new Rhombus = $884.24) invoice #***** which I paid ****. I kept the box. On Dec 6th I called Clear Water and spoke with *****. She left a message with **** ******** who called back on Dec 9th and basically said it was not their problem BECAUSE WE HAD THE **** WORKING FOR TWO YEARS, HIS MEN INSTALLED THE **** IN THE WAY THEY FOUND IT, AND PROBABLY IT WAS MY FAULT, MAYBE I HAD HIT IT WITH SOME LUMBER. I called Rhombus technical support ************** on Dec 12, 2024 and spoke to ******* about our issue. He reviewed the pictures and agreed the wires should not and come in from the top and also the fitting inside the box should have been plastic not metal to secure a moisture proof system.. As a result RHOMBUS WOULD NOT HONOR THE 5 YEAR WARRANTY which comes with the unit. I next spoke with the new owner of Clear Water, **** ********** who offered me $300 in cash or 2 years of service from Clear Water, I wrote him an email on Dec 31, 2024 with pictures of the unit, asking him to give me $ 740. He has not returned three phone calls to his personal cell or three emails.
