      I requested quotes for landscaping projects on April 15th, hoping to establish a relationship with a local company since we are new to the ********* area. The request was quickly acknowledged, and an appointment was scheduled. Brian came out to our property, took measurements, and promised quotes within 15-20 minutes. We reviewed the quotes in detail with him and accepted the Spring Cleanup, as it was only available for another week. We received confirmation for the scheduled work. Brian was knowledgeable and personable, but the issues began on the day the work was supposed to be done. They never showed up. I took the day off work to manage our dogs, who would be agitated with strangers in the yard. On Monday, I received a call with dead air, followed by a text confirming the Tuesday appointment. Assuming the call was a confirmation, I waited, but no one arrived. I thought they might come on Wednesday, but still, no work was done when I got home from work. When I contacted them, they claimed the crew did a drive-by and determined the work was already done. They said they tried reaching me on Monday, but I answered the call and received a confirmation text. Their excuse about phone issues is laughable, as my phone works perfectly. They said the second call went to voicemail, but no voicemail was left explaining the cancellation. We had a mulching job lined up based on the Spring Cleanup. There were no weather issues; the company simply decided not to do the work without notifying us. Despite taking a deposit, they refused to refund it, citing company policy not stated on the receipt or quote, so they are basically stealing over $200 from us. They claim to be reliable and trustworthy, but our experience was the opposite. They offered to reschedule, but we had other work lined up based on their original schedule, making the remaining work that needs to be done, not worth the quoted amount.
