    I had a dentist appointment 3/25/25 at 3:00pm so they gave me a address of ************** which I provided a picture of where the *** brought me so I parked there went to my appointment came out and my car was towed within 20 minutes of me being there they should be a sign saying this is not parking lot for ************** so Im looking for a refund I dont think its right they towed a vehicle for an honest mistake I have proof I had a dentist appointment also

    Good morning, I am ******* **** owner of Best Price Towing Services Corp. we received a letter in the mail with complaint# ******** in which the customer stated the *** brought him to *************** when his appointment was at ******************************. The is a private parking lot for patrons of *************** only and so the property manager had the vehicle towed as an involuntary (trespass) tow off the private property. We understand he made a mistake and parked in the wrong parking lot but we have a contract with *************** to remove all vehicles in violation and cannot make exceptions. 

    The customer was charged $172.84 

    Tow: $132
    Storage: $35
    Credit Card Processing Fee 3.5%: $5.84
    TOTAL: $172.84

    The maximum charge for involuntary towing of motor vehicles by police order or for trespass on private property is set forth in 220 C.M.R. ******. Currently, the maximum rate for police-ordered or involuntary towing (from private property) is $132.00 for towing. The storage rate for non-commercial motor vehicles is set forth in **** *. 159B, 6B. Currently, the rate is $35.00 per 24-hour period for storage. Additional charges may be assessed if additional labor is needed.

    Pardon this customer paid cash $167 he only paid $132 for the tow and the $35 daily storage fee.
