      On Dec 16th I went on the hometown bank app to pay my *************** charge card the bill was 5.85. when I looked at the amount the bank said it was ***** . I tried to cancel the whole transaction within seconds it wouldn't let me. I called the bank and was told they couldn't cancel it and that the extra ***** would be available on my charge card. Then on the 17th of Dec I checked the app and it said the ***** was a fee for same day bill pay. I told them I didn't ask for same day bill pay.they said there is nothing we can do . This seems like a scam . Why in God's name would I want to pay a ***** fee for a 5.85 bill that wasn't even due yet I like to pay my bills as I make them .I talked to bank hometown and also filed a complaint on the app. All I want out of this is the ***** they took without my consent.i honestly think the app is faulty.. but I also feel the bank is at fault one day I'm told the extra ***** will go to my charge card the next day it's some kind of bogus fee.***** may not seem like much to most but we are living in a very fixed income and we just barely make it from month to month. We need every ***** .
