STAT Limousine has attempted to ***** me on several accounts. They currently owe me $1,009.65 They canceled my service without calling me, leaving us to have to scramble to try to get to the airport on time, costing us even more $ They have NOT refunded me the $1,009.65 that is due. The service was never used due to them canceling saying one of their vehicles was in an accident (I am skeptical of this as well) I canceled my return trip well within the 12 hour window. On September 20 2023 I scheduled and paid for round trip transportation from my home to and from ****************** in ****** **. The charge was $109.00 each way for a total of 218.00. The trip from my home to ***** was completed as scheduled. On October 8, 2023 I returned to ***** and expected transportation home with Stat Limo as previously scheduled and paid for. I waited 45 minutes before I called the company and left a message. I did not receive a reply. Having no transportation I took a cab from ****** to ******** MA costing $153.00 plus a $20.00 tip. The following day I was reviewing my email and found a communication from STAT Limo canceling my trip home with assurance that I would receive my money for the one trip refunded. I called, left messages, and sent emails to the company and received no response after waiting several weeks. I paid for a service that I did not receive through no fault of my own. I paid Stat Limousine $375.00 on July 3, 2023 for lime service I did not receive so I asked them to refund the $375.00. I talked to them several times on the phone since July 2023 and they agreed to refund the $375.00 but up to now they have not. I talked to them again today and they told me to dispute the $375.00 to my credit card company but I told them that its a debit card and not a credit card so I cannot do this. Then then hung up on me and when I called them back they would not answer my call any longer because they know its me using caller ID. I need help to get my $375.00 back since I did not get the service I paid for and they are avoiding me.Business Response

We have advised this customer to that we changed our credit card processor and no longer have access to process a refund.
We advised the customer to file a dispute with her banks. As that would all the customer to receive her refund. Customer states she cant do that because it is a Debit Card! But that is not trueFurther it should be noted that:
We gave the customer a credit on her account and applied that credit to another reservation which was scheduled.
customer then called less than 24 hours to cancel that reservation.Our cancellation policy clearly states that cancellation received less than 24 hours in advance to a reservation date and time are non refundable. In this case the customer is not entitled to a refund.
so
even though the customer is not entitled to a refund we have agreed to accept a dispute of the charge. Customer simply need to call her card/bank and process the dispute.

I am rejecting this response because:First, I called the bank, and they told me since the charge is over 60 days from the time that Stat Limousine double charged me, they cannot put in a dispute on this charge.
Second, Stat Limousine is mistaken because I was willing to use the overcharge of $375.00 and made another reservation for Limo service in November 2023 for service in December but when I called them on December 21, 2023, to confirm my reservation for December 22 they claim I never make a reservation which is not true. Since they had no Limo available, I was stuck driving to ****** myself. They told me they will send the refund of $375.00 by the end of December 2023. Now they are changing their tune and saying they never told me that they will send me a refund and to deal with the bank. As I mentioned that bank cannot do anything since the overcharge was over 60 days ago and that is why I am contacting you for help. I just don't know why they cannot send me a refund to end this issue.

I am rejecting this response because: Stat Limo is again making false statements because when I went to confirm the reservations, they distinctly told me they had no limo available the next day.Here is what I don't understand, they asked me to call the bank to dispute the charge so I can get the funds back, but they are now arguing about a phone conversion instead of refunding the funds that they double charged me. Is this a company that has people what to deal with?
What is my next step, legal action that will cost both parties legal fees?

I hired STAT Limousine to take my husband and I to and from ****** ****************** on 12/21/23 & 1/2/24 respectively. I paid $222.04 EACH WAY for this trip, in advance on 11/30/23. We did receive a ride to the airport on 12/21/23. When we arrived at *****, flying from *****, we found we did not have a ride home. The company had confirmed the pick up the night before but then at 2PM, four and a half hours before our arrival time, while we were flying over the Atlantic, they email to cancel. We tried to call them, no answer. We had to get an **** home (over 45 miles) as we were stranded, it was late and cold. I have since reached out with 3 emails asking for a refund of the $222.04 PLUS the unexpected Uber expense of $152.80. I have receipts for both expenses being paid. I subsequently went on Yelp and found that this behavior is HABITUAL with this company. They have ALL one star ratings and have stranded many others at the airport and in other places. They should lose their license to have a business as they keep taking people's money and stranding them and then not issuing refunds or responding to calls, texts, or emails. Date 08/01/2023 They took payment for transportation on 8/1 for transportation that was to take place on 8/5, they emailed me 4 hours before pick up time to tell me the van had mechanical issues and that they issued me credit. My account was charged $262.89 for the ride there and $228.60 for the ride home. I called Friday 8/11 and he said it takes a week to 10 days. It has been 15 days and I still don't have my money refunded.Business Response

Date of transaction on receipt. Limo driver contacted night before a storm to potentially reschedule( see email from Jayson C******. Per the agreement that was paid for, if Stat Limo cancelled, a full refund would be given. It has yet to occur and I have not received any receipt of the refund. I made a reservation for my family to be taken to the airport for 120$.Soon after booking, they charged 183$ to my card. Upon seeing this, I called to ask why they charged that amount and not the amount we had discussed. They had a terrible answer, so I cancelled the entire reservation. That was on November 17 2022.It is now 1/10/2023 and I have not received my refund.They told me when I cancelled my reservation on the 17th, it would take **** business days to recieve it. Unfortunately this complaint is not accurate at all.
the customer states I quoted him one price and charged a different. This is not true.
He was quoted $90 plus tax and gratuity. This is the price for one person.
upon making the reservation he made the reservation with additional people. Each additional person is $20. This is clear on our website and was told to him when he made the reservation.customer never made any comments to me or communicated any displeasure or dispute about the price.
