  We were just moved from ***** to **** ***, ** by Nathaniel and Nick of Real Deal Van Lines, of **********, **. After a two hr. drive to ***** to meet them, we were happily surprised they arrived on their designated time of 9:30 a.m. They called 1/2 hr. before arrival time to begin communication. They cleaned out our 2 storage units in record time and everything was organized in the truck and filled to the very edge of the door of the truck. They were in communication on our return trip to Cape Cod. Cannot say enough about how hard these guys worked!! We had several heavy items and they brought them in and placed them exactly where we wanted them...and even moved them again if we wanted them to!! These guys were so friendly and accommodating!! We were going to give them a reasonable tip but ended up doubling it because they worked so hard!!! On another note..we cannot believe final payment was within the quote!!!!! I had been warned to be aware of low moving quotes that I might get scammed and that didn't happen...thankfully!!! Highly recommend Real Deal of **********, **!!!!We did not have expensive furniture. Our belongings were mostly packed in banana boxes wrapped in trash bags for protection. So express concerns if you want your move handled with special care. Wish these special guys could've used the dolly more for their own safety and physical strain on the body so they can continue to do a great job in the future. This review was written by a real customer, not family or friend!! So thankful for our experience with Real Deal!!

  DONT DO IT! I have moved 22 times. Internationally, between states, and local moves. I hired movers for all of my moves. This company was the absolute worst in terms of time, cost, and headaches.

  We did nothing but be 100% accommodating to this customer. She had triple the amount of items to move and we did several trips for her. The last trip of which was going to storage. She mentioned to us as we were loading the last trip at 5PM that her storage unit closed at 6PM. We gave her free overnight storage and offered to finish loading that night and deliver to storage first thing in the morning and waive travel time. The next morning we were on time and come to find out we were only constricted on times because she did not do paperwork with the storage unit in advance to reserve the unit. The unit was, in fact, 24hr access. Therefore, there was wait time on the bill on day 2 to wait the hour and 15 minutes for her to do the paperwork and reserve the unit. We were nothing but accommodating for **** even when it was not an error on our end.

  In truth, they didnt pack the truck, but rather made a single layer of items and told me they were going to have to make two trips. I was surprised. They had plenty of space to avoid the second trip, and plenty of time to get the second trip delivered anyway.When they returned for the second load (10x15) room they had 2 1/2 hours to pack, and assured me it would be done. One of the movers came back from the lunch break they took in between so high he couldnt function! This wasnt my first move, I was ripped off!

  Real Deal Van Lines is the absolute worst moving company you could hire. I hired them to move a desk four filing cabinets and a few boxes. They scratched my Floors with the filing cabinets Instead of using the dolly. When we got to the location I couldn’t get in the building due to a lock issue. They sat in the car for an hour while the lock was being worked on and then told me they couldn’t move the desk up there. They left the desk in the parking lot. When I called the manager she said the desk was too heavy and she couldn’t risk them getting hurt. I offered extra manpower and she said they couldn’t do it they were late to another job. The extra manpower showed up and had the desk in my office within 15 minutes. I will be doing Google reviews and Better Business Bureau reviews. It cost me 700 and some odd dollars And they didn’t even complete the job.????

  To start, this move occurred on the coldest day in 7 years. When the crew got to the first location they called the office and said there was a piece to move that was so heavy it would require 3 men to move it. The office advised them it was not safe to do with just two movers and to not touch it. By some miracle they were able to get it out of the first location. When they got to the second location they noticed the stairs and the carry involved and said they could not move it into the building without the help of one more mover. Not to mention, the crew had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the customer to unlock the door because the key did not work. At this point the customer became hostile with the crew and subsequently became belligerent with Anna on the phone. If the crew cannot move a piece that should physically be safely moved with three men, the office deems it unsafe for the crew. That does not mean that we did not complete the job if there is a piece of furniture that is unsafe for the crew to lift. The bill was so high not because of the piece that could not be moved but because of the wait time for the door to be unlocked. We then tried to speak with customer on phone and she yelled and swore and hung up on us.

  We had a great experience with Real Deal Van Lines. The movers, ***** and *****, were prompt and friendly. They moved all of our things to my daughters college apartment with care. We had trouble getting the couch up the narrow stairway to her Boston apartment, and they worked with us until the couch was up. We highly recommend them and plan to use them again!

  The two-person Real Deal Van Lines team that arrived at my second-floor apartment was extremely helpful, accommodating, courteous, friendly and overall extremely professional. They moved furniture and boxes into two different areas across two homes for me with a pleasant attitude and not a single complaint. They gentleman explained everything that they were doing. I had the best experience with these movers and would recommend the company to anyone in a heartbeat!!
