    Paid deposit for transport to pick up my car from dealership at 5pm. Sent message to broker who scheduled it for status. Called dealership transport never showed and now not answering my calls or messages. I paid deposit and now I have to incur higher charges to rent vehicle to go and pick up vehicle

    This situation sounds familiar the name on the transport is not the same as the person making the complaint this is a complaint of somebody just tryna throw they weight around and intimidate us with threats of negative comments on our bbb profile but we welcome all feedback thank you.anyway so The customer ask us to find her a carrier after goin back and fourth between yes and no the area wher the customer was picking up and dropping off was a route no so popular after while I found her a carrier but explained that there wasn’t any carriers in the area but I was able to get one that was coming from an area about 100-125 miles outside the area of pickup but he wanted to be paid $1 per deadhead mile because he was willing to pick it up for her by the time she wanted it done she agreed I took the deposit for the transport which was $130 I believe transport day comes it was a thurs day I’m off on thursdays she reached out around mayb 4 o’clock something stating the driver haven’t showed and the place closes at 5pm I text the customer back I will look into and call you back I get a text from the customer shortly there after which I Dnt see cause again I’m off on this day that reads you better call me back and soon or I’m putting in a complaint this and that so when I seen the text maybe 2hrs had passed I got into my computer cuz again I was off that day contacted the driver I asked the driver hey what happen you Ddnt pick the car up he explain to me I made it 30 minutes after the dealership closed to pick up the vehicle but he was gunna sleep in the area pick it first thing in the morning soon as they open I wrote the customer back hey the driver explain to me there was traffic he made it after they closed but he’s staying close by and will pick it up soon as they open she say no no I’m good I made other arrangements I explain to the customer I’m sorry about not getting back to u sooner but I was off and doin things with my children just attitude and hostility but keep in mind this carrier already drove this 100-125 mile drive to pick up her vehicle and the contract the carrier accepted gives him a one day window to compensate for things like traffic or any other delays so the company still collected on the down payment it’s not there fault the customer changed her mind they already burned there gas which was money out of there pocket the next morning the carrier reached out yo me saying hey I’m still looking to collect my payment for the miles driven yo pick this car up so call the customer let them know I’m 5 minutes up the street and can get the car picked up now I reached out the customer was stilll saying no so what was I to do I Tried multiple times to rectify the situation
