      I was taking a small does of Vyvanse for around 4-5 years, paying $30 a month co-pay with insurance and using the ** savings card. Once the generic came out, Takeda completely discontinued all savings programs. I tried the generic and it does not work well with numerous unwanted side effects. I also tried numerous other ADD medications without any luck and also encountered many side effects. Vyvanse name brand seems to work the absolute best. I tried calling Takeda and both the representatives I spoke with, and the automated system say if you were utilizing any savings program, they have all been discontinued and the response basically being, figure it out and talk with your provider for other options. My cost for the Vyvanse is now $150 with insurance. I feel this is predatory in nature for a company to completely remove all savings and leave the consumer hanging. I believe they trying to recoup the costs since the generic came out and pass the loss back onto the patients which is an unethical business practice. Takeda was only helping patients with their discount programs and assistance programs when they were making a significant profit. Vyvanse has made a significant positive impact on my life and Takeda is taking away that for corporate financial gain and greed. Article: *********************************************************************************************************** Spoke with ******* ********** number) on 6/18/24, who stated there was nothing that can be done or anyone higher I could speak to, all discount programs were completely discontinued after the generic came out. He suggested I contact the customer service number and speak to someone in medical information. That rep stated the same thing and was not able to transfer me to someone higher.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I did email the executive staff to try to get an answer but have not heard anything yet.
