    I paid CRC services a $3,600.00 retainer for legal services in September 2021. Via Email it was agreed If fully retained, and absolutely No work is performed - and your case is completed at pretrial - the firm will return 50% of the $3600 retainer. After paying this retainer, my case was completed at pretrial, and I never requested any work to be performed by their company. In January 2023, after multiple calls and emails, I received a response from David S that they would have to pull the file from Archives. CRC Services eventually sent me a check for $1,350.00, which is $450.00 less than the $1,800.00 I was due. When I informed them of the discrepancy David S said that 1 hour of professional time was incurred and billed to me at $450/hour. I have twice requested information regarding what professional services were provided and they have not responded.

    I dispute that any charges occurred because I did not request any services.  I want the additional $450.00 returned to total $1800.00 (half of $3600.00 retainer) as was the original agreement

    BBB spoke directly to the consumer and they advised that they have received the refund check.  They will reach out if there are any issues with the processing of the check.
