I keep getting phone calls from ***** trying to sell me your newspaper. I keep telling them that I do not want this subscription because there is very little news in the paper and it has no longer been LOCAL focused. Then forward to today, I get another call trying to sell me another subscription and willing to cancel a $21 fee if I take this offer but I could not cancel unless I spend money with her today. I then called the local number for The Sun and got India and I was told I had to pay to cancel. When I went online to the subscription it says active until 4/8/25.... maybe it's already April in ***** but not here. Just stop calling me trying to sell me a newspaper, I'll buy it when it has better local coverage. I'm also on the do not call list and keep getting these calls.

We apologize for the ongoing calls you have been receiving and have placed you on our Internal Do Not Call List.  In checking the account, we notice a stop has been entered for you effective tomorrow 2/19/2025 and we have written off the account balance of $21.00 as it had expired on 1/8/25.  The ***** date you are seeing on the account page is the date the account would have permanently stopped as we did not receive a renewal payment, but we have stopped it effective 2/19/25 as you are not interested in renewing.   Thank you.

Deceptive advertising States 24 weeks delivery for $66.00 but fails to provide details or * stating an additional charge of $0.15 per day for surcharge will shorten the weeks delivered unless you look at the fine print so technically not a 24 week option

All of our newspaper publications charge a .15 daily supply chain fee.  This notice is provided on all invoices and while we  understand this is upsetting to customers, we are able to do a 1 time credit adjustment for the number of days their subscription was reduced and I have done so for **************.  We now have her paid through date back to the original expiration of 8/30/2024.
