    We hired R & S Paving, Inc. in November of 2022 to redo our driveway, as we live on a big hill and wanted to adjust the driveway so it wasn't so steep. They did a good job but noted that they couldn't add fill because the weather was turning and would have to return in the spring. It would be an additional cost. We were told to contact them first thing in the Spring of 2023 to have them add fill and grade the yard as there were still ruts from the machines they used.We contacted them in March and April. Where we were told the ground was still too frozen to work on and to contact them in a few weeks. We contacted them again the third week of April. No response after multiple messages. Beginning of May I finally got a hold of ***** on the phone and he told me to call him back and leave him a voicemail with what we needed, even though I had literally just told him what the problem was (not to mention the previous voicemails we left). Still no response after two weeks and multiple messages. He finally called me back June 1st. He told me he wants to help me out and that he would come over Saturday June 3rd to go over what we had to do. He no showed. I called him and no response. It has been almost 8 months and the job is still not completed. I understand adding the fill is an additional charge and I understand that it would have been difficult in the winter months to do it. I am upset that we weren't put on the books back in November to have this job completed. My yard is full of ruts. I can't plant grass seed. The bottom of my driveway is full of dirt because it is being washed way. The newly installed driveway is also starting to sag and crumble because no fill was ever put in. The fact it is so difficult to get a hold of the company is a problem, and to stand me up is very unprofessional. I just want the job to be completed so my driveway doesn't fall apart and so my yard doesn't look terrible.

    I did speak with the consumer and advised him that if I would have time to come out I would, but on that day, I ended up being busier than expected and regretfully, I was not able to make it.  The items listed in this complaint that the consumer has requested be completed were not included in the initial contract and would be an additional cost.  I am willing to go out and complete the work for the additional cost once my schedule allows.  I am currently booked through the next month and a half.  If the consumer would like to reach out to me to schedule an appointment to complete the work, I will be glad to add them to my schedule when I have an opening.
