    I ordered an awning from Sunsetter but canceled within 48 hours. I was told by the first customer rep that she would cancel the order after I explained it would not work. The next day got a call from Sunsetter and that rep told me they couldn't cancel til it went thru production then shipping and then return (which they would due in house) and it would not be shipped to my house. Now I had to deny the truck delivery cause they tried to deliver it. Called sunsetter and they said no refund til they receive it back to thier warehouse in ***** and I'm in ********. Once they get your money it's hard to get it back. I've got my bank involved now, at least I know they are on my side. Sunsetter has terrible policies on how they refund money after you cancel. They could have stopped the order instead of letting it thru to shipping and return. I think they are trying to get me for shipping and restocking charges. Terrible company to deal with. I recommend getting your awning somewhere else. Please read reviews on them and thier customer service. Buyer beware stay away.

    This place is terrible to work with. Please view your warranty with them because it is pro-rated. Tried to get replacement motor takes 4 weeks to get from them. You cant talk to anybody in a supervisor role. They do not call back. Please think twice about ordering from SunSetter. **************** is terrible you get mixed answers.

    I placed an order June 5th with an installer / dealer. It is currently August 28 and I have no update on the status of my order, meanwhile orders made in July have already been filled. The dealer has been very supportive and communicative, but SunSetter has not provided an order updates or explanations as to why it's been nearly 3 months and with nothing to show besides wasted down payment money that I lost.

    I ordered my retractable awning in April of 2023. It took the company 16 weeks to deliver the product. Once installed, it was discovered that it had a hole in the fabric. Terrible service.

    My order from Sunsetter is delayed by weeks and no one provides any information whatsoever. The franchisee is a rude person that talks over and does not listen, repeating over and over that she has emailed corporate, as if that is a solution. Deplorable service.
