    I went to Endodontics of Malden *************************** office (located at ********************************************************************, phone ************) for endodontic treatments. On my first visit, ************** took a x-ray and did other study, reviewed the note from my primary dentist and did exam on me. her billing staff had discussed with her about the procedure, my ***************************** and my co-pay. Her billing person informed me many times that the final/total co-pay is $1039.00. I paid the $1039.00 on the second visit and was told again $1039.00 would be my total co-pay. They never inform me any potential issues of my co-pay during these 2 visits. I received additional co-pay charge of $1149.56 on 11/17/22which makes my total co-pay of $2188.56, more than double of her initial promise of $1039.00.She used false information to lure unsuspected patient misleading their decision and using her service. I will not let her do the procedure if you told me the total co-pay of $2188.56. she knows the total co-pay of $2188.56 she plans to charge at very beginning but she lied to me of $1039 for more than 40 days until 11/17/22. she used the agreement of "estimate" form they asked me to sign to force me to pay this excessive high co-pay. her scamming/cheating practice is not acceptable. It is all her fault to make me agreed her service. She hide the truth of total co-pay or at least not willing to provide me the true information of my co-pay. She never consulted my ********************** on my 2 visits to verify my total co-pay and told me my co-pay of $1039.00 all the time because they have done the same procedures for years; they have trained billing for years; the ********************** coverage policy didnt change during these 2 months. I called **************** office and asked copies of all her treatment notes and images study on 12/2/22. I only received a note from ************** to my primary PCP but not her original note about detail treatment.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

     

    The owner of Endodontics of Malden called me on 12/8. She said she would write me a letter, but I never received the letter yet. Her staff told me that the owner saw BBB complaint. She will response the complaint soon. The issues are not resolved yet.
