This past September, I reached out to one of the owners of Nexis power (*** ****) asking for help on why I did not receive the promised 13k tax credit. Since then, I have realized that I was deceived by the person who sold me the solar system (**** Bofiore) Who was employed by Nexis power. I was promised by the sales agent, ****, on at least three occasions, that I would receive a $13,000 tax credit, so that I could then apply that money back to the system by February 2025- which was a stipulation of the contract (in order for my bill to stay the same- which was the only reason why I obtained solar- was to keep my bill under $150 per month) The sales agent lied to me, and I am now in a financial hardship because of his deception. When I reported this to ***, his response was that **** was an independent contractor, so it is not his responsibility to help right his wrong. This company, Nexis Power, is hiring independent contractors so that they can deceive people in purchasing systems, without any consequence to their business. I explained to *** that I am not asking for the full $12,000 to be forgiven, and that I was only $3,200 short of making the payment. I am asking Nexis power to make a $3200 payment in my name, so that my bill stays the same and doesnt go up, as I have not been able to raise all of the funds that were promised to me, and not delivered, in order to keep my bill same. This responsibility should fall on Nexis power, and I am outraged by their lack of moral responsibility.

I have several more screenshots, showing my communication between the solar company, as well as *** ****, and **** the sales **** The system would only allow me to add five. I have been dealing with this situation for quite some time and just wanted it to end. (The last time I sent a screenshot to *** ****, he did not reply back to me) Thank you so much for your help on this matter!

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I was also informed by my solar company, as well as the installers, that they have been reaching out to Nexis power on my behalf, and trying to get them to reach out to me. I still have not heard anything back from them. My hope is that someone from Nexis Power, will still reach out to me and take accountability for the contractor they hired, who deceived me and put me in a financial hardship. This company does this to people too often, and the installers and solar companies are getting bad reviews because of them. Even when filing my complaint with you guys, they tried to get the complaint kicked over to the solar company, by asking for the contract (because they knew the contract was with the solar company) its really unfortunate that Nexis Power has found a loop in the system and a means to deceive people without having to take accountability for it. If they do not contact me, I plan on pursuing this and likely going to the News or Paper, as people should be aware that this company is conducting business in this way.
