I am writing to file a claim for a significant issue regarding the concrete work performed by Source 1 Flatwork, in collaboration with Source ******************** and Empire ************, at my property located at ****************************************The work undertaken involved the laying of concrete in accordance with specified standards. The estimate clearly outlined that the concrete was to be laid at a depth of 4 inches with a commercial finish grade of C40. Regrettably, the executed work does not align with the agreed-upon specifications. The concrete is far from the specified 4-inch depth and is already displaying signs of cracking. They left the job unfinished and very below standard and expectation. This deviation from the agreed specifications has resulted in an unstable slab, causing significant disruption and financial harm to our business. The money spent due to these discrepancies have impacted our operations negatively. Despite our attempts to address these issues and seek corrective actions, there has been no remediation from their end.Our claim is grounded in the violation of ************* consumer protection laws, as explicitly outlined in section 2, chapter 93A of the ************* General Laws. The failure to uphold the agreed-upon work standards constitutes an unfair and deceptive act.Our attempts to reach out have failed in receiving a response from them regarding insurance information, and proof of licensing (home improvement license and CSL).
