    We found Minas Concrete & Construction through *********. The job is replacing an asphalt garage floor with concrete and adding an apron. We received an estimate via email which was signed and returned (attached). We received the attached email requesting a 60% deposit. The deposit was made via the instructed wire transfer (confirmation attached). Now they are refusing to do the work.

    Hi,
    I wanted to clarify what happened regarding the recent situation with the email. Unfortunately, our company email was hacked. We're not exactly sure how it happened, especially since were very cautiousour team doesnt access suspicious websites, and we use *********** which usually block these kinds of threats in advance.
    The hacker used our email and even my name to request money from ****. The bank account they provided was under a company name, but it definitely does not belong to usmost importantly, because we do not have any accounts with **************** (we exclusively use *******).
    I advised **** to initiate a dispute with his bank in order to recover the funds. Once everything is resolved and he gets the money back, we can move forward with the project. As soon as we receive the 60% down paymenteither by check or ******** be ready to begin work right away.
