On July 1st, 2023, Fast Action Appliance, *************************, came to my home to repair the ice maker on my fridge. I was advised that the ice maker needed to be replaced. I paid ** $250 to order the replacement icemaker. On July 6th I called ** and was advised the ice maker did not come in. I should call him on the 11th. I was on vacation at that time so I didn't call ** until the ~18th of July. There was no answer. I have since been tryng to contact ** via phone, email, text and also through his website 'contact us' option. I haven't been able to reach him. And, he has not contacted me. My check cleared my bank on July 5th. At this point I would ask that I have my $250 refunded to me.

Actually, I have heard from the business, but the issue is not resolved.  BBB needs to offer more response options...

Anyway, the company I filed a complaint on did contact me directly.  The man I was dealing with, **, called me on 8/8/23 the day after I filed a complaint with the BBB.  He apologized for how long it was taking him.  Said it was all his fault-that I had fallen off his radar.  He wanted to make things right.  I told him I had made numerous attempts to contact him with no response.  So, unfortunately, because so much time had passed, I told **** had hired another company to fix my fridge's icemaker. At this point, all I wanted from him was a refund of my $250.  ** said he'd 'send me something' and hung up.  So far, as of 8/21/23, I have not received my refund.
