Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

I received JC Concrete & Stamp's response to my complaint ID# ********. I reject JC's pdf text response, especially about "threating" (threatening) him.
I don't understand how giving him a case of wine is a threat. I bought it because I thought he was a good person & still feel he is! I'm only questioning the quality of his work and his failure to not return to complete the job having been paid (my fault!)
He reciprocated with 2 lobsters & 4 bottles of wine . . . proof enough that we had a solid professional relationship which, I guess, I wrongfully assumed.
His laborer was also a hard worker that's why I tipped him $100
I never questioned the price feeling I received a satisfactory quantity but not quality
JC told me there would be "paid for" concrete leftover & suggested we use it up in 2 other areas, another indication he was being more than fair. We did use it up
I even offered him more money but he refused it, me thinking "a really good gesture"
I hired a handyman to correct the height of the walkway with crushed stone because it was left 2" - 4" above grade level because it was not properly sloped resulting in a potential hazard for a wheelchair to roll off the edge
I even texted JC to do this for pay but received no text response.
Once I paid him our business was done from his perspective . . . but not mine
FYI - I have the complete thread of text exchanges from beginning to end should they be needed for proof of accuracy should further information requests be needed
I would like JC to return ONLY to saw cut the end of walkway where it transitions to hot top driveway from from 1/2" to 1/4" making it handicap accessible & straighten the right edge where he started to make saw cuts but left it unfinished because JC did not have the right saw blade in his trailer. (A photo sent to BBB shows the saw cut started)
He told my wife he would return "to finish the job" but still has not
My wife & I posted on ******** "buyer beware" having seen a review that he had left at least 1 job unfinished leaving a mess behind. We wanted to inform others
Last night, July 28, 2024, my wife saw a ******** post from a woman saying that she wished she had seen our "buyer beware" post because JC "did not finish her job leaving her yard a mess"
Straightforward question: How many times is JC going to defraud customers of their money by not finishing the job & & leaving a mess behind?
Town of ****** building inspector, Concrete Ready Mix salesperson, neighbors, friends, relatives, even beach goers, have commented the quality of the walkway is "terrible, poor, awful, unacceptable," etc
None of these people are "concrete experts" but the eyes never lie.
I kindly ask ** again to come back to finish the job with no hard feelings on my end
I don't think my request is asking too much. And again, I will pay you an agreed upon price for your effort. You have the diamond blade to finish the job
At 76 years old I no longer hold any grudges!
              Respectfully,
              *********************
