    A scam! I am trying to get my $10,000. Rebate, as promised. No one is acting responsibly, every time I submit information, it changes I never received documentation as the process went along, and now Im trying desperately to obtain information. Ive paid in full $26,458.40 Bank shows Home Works Energy cashed and processed checks ( stamped on back)Going in circles. Really starting to feel like a scam! Ive done everything I could, as expected, now I cant even get someone to help me!

    Hello Mario.  I see that you contacted us a few weeks ago for the paperwork needed to process your rebates.  HomeWorks Energy does not actually handle the rebate payments, those are all handled by Mass Save, please contact them directly.  Here's a link to how to reach them.

    I put down a $150 refundable deposit back in 2020 when I had a guy come by to give me a quote on mini splits. Covid happened shortly thereafter. I was unable to proceed with purchasing. I have been trying to get my measly $150 deposit back for years now. **************** has given me the run around several times. Ive even been lied to, saying my paper check was in the mail. That was untrue. I had them in for work before 2020 but I will NEVER do business with them again. Theyre dishonest, unorganized, and scammers.

After reaching out to **************** I was told we did issue a check back in July but apparently you did not receive it. They will be issuing and mailing you a check today.     Right now, I am hoping the bosses see this complaint from a 5 year customer. Could not be happier with the new heating system. It is quiet, efficient and stays right at the temperature you set the thermostat. I also had the attic and walls completely insulated and what a great job. Good guys.The insulation not only keeps the house warm, but quiet ,also. No more hot water tank, too Now, I get a yearly phone telling me the system needs service to keep it functioning properly . How much? $289.00 per year OK. So now , 5 years later I get the call to schedule an appt. and the charge? $389.00. Really. I made the appointment and slept on it , now considering canceling this October appoint. Somebody better explain to perspective clients, what happens after the purchase........; The tech spent 20 minutes in my basement last year...............

    I had a terrible experience with this company. One of their techs installed a new thermostat in our attic that stopped working 2 hours after he left. When I called the company, they said the only person who could fix it was the original tech and he is out on vacation. I've been calling them to get it fixed and they are giving me the runaround with no one taking responsibility for the fix. I have to wait for several minutes each time to speak to someone and then they transfer me to another department where the call gets cut or the person passes me on to the next person. Two days and eight phone calls later no accountability yet from HomeWorks.

    On two separate occasions, I scheduled city home inspections with Home Work Energy. On both occasions, there was little or no communication leading into an inspection, and the inspection was not completed. I recently had an insulation job done a couple of months ago with an open city inspection, and I'm not sure how this will get completed.

The inspections you mentioned were rescheduled by the town, which we have no control over. I apologize for any miscommunication, or lack thereof, but it also appears we were not notified by the town inspector that they had cancelled and/or reschedule the appointment(s).

    Homeworks Energy did the insulation work in my home through the Masssave program. I am very happy with my dealings with Homeworks Energy. From the auditor, to e-mails with the office, setting up times, answering questions, to the 2 day insulation workall good. Any phone calls or emails were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. The installation crew were all very friendly and professional. ***** the lead was very knowledgeable and patient with the many questions and happily and clearly explained the process, what materials were to be used and why. All in all a very good experience.

    I've now spent 5 weeks hounding this company to fix the damage they did. First they came to add insulation to the attic based on a Mass Save audit. In doing so, they broke the attic ladder. It took two more visits and multiple phone calls to get the attic ladder replaced. During the attic ladder replacement, they damaged my floors, walls, an interior door, and they didn't fix the ceiling where new plaster was needed. The old trim also didn't fit the new ladder, but they tried to use caulking to fill large gaps. It looks horrible.Again, many many calls and emails later, they asked the flooring company that came out to look at the damaged floors to try a repair that multiple people at the company told me would not work. Nonetheless, I had to make myself available for the company to come out and do the repair, which of course didn't work. I'm now waiting for their response about the floors, and have another 2 weeks before they can have someone come out to fix all the other issues they caused.While the customer service contacts are "nice" and respond when I reach out, they aren't proactively communicating and trying to get this resolved well and efficiently.I would not recommend them at all. Such a headache.

I've reviewed the extensive notes on your account and can completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately while working in customers homes things like this happen during the course of doing all the necessary work, but the multiple issues that you have gone through are excessive. I'm also sorry that our team was not more proactive in communicating with you, I have passed that on to the appropriate management. I do see that some of the delays were due to us waiting for the companies we work with to fix what what was needed in your home, but we still should have done a better job in giving you status updates. Thank you for your patience during this process. I know that it will not make this situation better, but we will be sending you a gift basket for your troubles.     Awful people to deal with **************** ***** No call back for major issue after broken products they put in they tell me call someone to come fix it must be my furnace which worked just fine before they came out.

    WOW how can I rate this company 0 stars? Where do I begin, they came late, they damaged my walls, work never was completed, floors scratched, left my bathroom a mess, had to clean the urine off the seat and floor, left the sink dirty. spray insulation attic not complete, roof vent never finished, they installed a roof vent but only covered 3/4 with roof tar, I had to go up on the roof and finish taring the vent. (good thing it did not rain) Last but not least they tried to charge me over $300 more than the quote I got from them. When I asked them why $300 more they said they miss quoted the prices??? I did not pay.I had someone from the homework over here today to look over the job, he said oh the sale guy should never have promise to do the bulkhead, and how things happen but would not fix the walls or the bulkhead. I now have to spend more money fixing what they screwed up.Not sure why Masssave would use this company, I should have read the reviews here first.If you use them good luck.

I was told that ****** left you a voicemail last week, to which you have not responded as of yet. It was detailed communication letting you know that we are looking to replace your bulkhead door, reframe it, etc, and also that were having a professional do the re-patching of his walls. All of course at no cost to you. She also planned to follow up with another call as well as an email, She will continue to reach out to you until all of this is resolved.

    Update to my review, ****** from HomeWorks Energy contacted me regarding the issues and my concerns about the work that was done at my home.She agreed to look into the problems and take care of any of any issues that occurred during the work. I must say thank you to ****** for listening to my concerns with the work and how HomeWork Energy agreed to take care of all problems.A lot of company's would not taking the time to listen to or follow up with the customer when problems occur.Thank you again

    I can NOT recommend HomeWorks Energy 0/5 stars.I couldn't be more frustrated with your company. I took a day out of work for an audit. I wanted to have the insulation installed and a heat pump system. The arrival window was from 8-9am. I was at the entire time and the auditor never showed. I was sitting in the living room looking over the driveway the entire time with my dog who barks when anyone comes into the driveway. I had my cell phone on me too. I called at 9am at the end of the arrival window. They informed me that I was not at home. They didn't apologize, didn't try and get him back in the window of time I had off, just asked if I wanted to reschedule. I recognize your time is valuable, why can you not recognize my time is valuable too, especially time off?
