NW initially said it would cost 3k to fix my car, then told me I was up to 4K when they told me I needed a replacement engine which would bring cost to 7K but they would do it for 6K for me. NW charged me for unauthorized parts that were not discussed with me at all. NW listed on my invoice that my replacement engine was documented" but they don't have such documentation and don't know how it was documented. **** said **** did it and supposedly no longer works there but they are brothers (?) NW said all the old parts were removed from the replacement engine, and documented on my invoice that they removed all new parts out of my original engine and transferred them into the replacement engine. False. They did not transfer my new plugs. NW said rust was coming from my radiator, told me it should be replaced, allegedly replaced it, and the rust is not resolved. NW did not list labor per parts on my invoice, no discussion of any warranty, no discussion on how much they charged for labor, no written estimate, and first time I was physically in NW was when I got the bill and picked up my car. They installed a badly cracked #1 ignition wire incorrectly which caused my car to malfunction. NW called me twice (odd) after I picked up my car to see how it was running. I feel they did this expecting my car to malfunction so I could bring it back to them. They deny installing the cracked wire but did reimburse me for new spark plugs. When I complained about him putting unauthorized parts in my car, he told me it would be "******************* and Pound Poor" to put my old parts in, but both engines were out so it would not have been labor intense and cost more but new parts and labor did. He never said my parts were bad, he did not test them, he did not ask me how old they were and he said it was the obvious thing to do in a letter he sent me, and I don't know what engine is in my car as the "documentation" for it is missing. Fraud?I also filed a complaint with the AGO on 10/26/22

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I have documents if needed to substantiate my claims but I would need to mail them to you. Neighborhood Wrench had no right to make decisions regarding my car that cost me money and was never discussed with me. They also replaced other items such as fuel lines and a clutch that has nothing to do with the operation of the engine that was not even mentioned to me. That is my car, my finances, and my decisions to make, NOT NW and I feel they operated in unfair business practices and Fraud and it may have been done because I am an older woman and they may have seen me as an easy *****
