      I recently brought a dress to Antons cleaners in ********* location for dry cleaning. When I went to pick up, I noticed that some of the paint on the belt buckles had been removed, leaving a spotty appearance. I left the belt at the store, and the cashier assured me that a manager would reach out within two days. Unfortunately, no one contacted me.When I followed up in person, the same cashier informed me that the manager claimed they did not clean the belt and were not responsible for the damage. I was both surprised and disappointed by this response, I expected accountability and professionalism, and I am disheartened by the refusal to acknowledge the issue.

      When the complaint was made to our Lexington manager *****, he contacted the processing plant to ask about it. They remembered the belt and said that they did not clean it because it would have been totally destroyed, they only cleaned the dress. Our supervisor **** tried to call the customer to explain this and we never received a return call. ******* does not feel responsible for any damage since we never cleaned the belt.

      November ******* I took my jacket to be dry cleaned, and when I picked up on November 12, it had a rip that wasnt there before.All the buttons were scratched almost like they wouldve gotten dragged down concrete. I went on November 13 to speak to the manager, and he accuse me of lying that he didnt damage the jacket . Treated me so poorly, I almost cried he kept raising his voice at me. I just wanted to speak to the supervisor, he said he cannot give me those numbers. I just want to l have it resolved he also said they wont replace it that I would only get 60% of what I paid which was $2200.00 now,Its worth $3300.00 I want a new jacket you cant fix a hole on a nylon jacket

      Upon further communication with our supervisor, who has 40 years of experience and had the opportunity to speak with the customer and review the damage, we do not believe that the damage occurred while in our care.
      We are happy to reassess the coat and welcome the customer to speak with the owner, ****** *****, directly.
      We could also coordinate sending the coat to a third-party specialist to help determine the best course of action to repair the coat.
      We take great care in cleaning each garment according to the care label instructions provided by *******. At this time, without further investigation, we cannot replace the coat at any value.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      I brought in a couple of jackets to get dry cleaned, but the manager, *****, ruined the Moncler. When I came to speak with the manager, he accused me of lying by saying I brought in the jacket in that condition. The coat was purchased in February of 2023 and was the first time it was dry-clean or washed. The manager decides to wash it in the washing machine, and that's how all the buttons got scratched, and even the sleeve has a small rip. The manager was nothing but rude and did not take any accountability. He said the supervisors would decide on a solution and reach out in a few days. After a few hours, supervisor *** called, saying they were not responsible and that there was nothing they were willing to do because that was normal wear and tear to them.

      The jacket was taken to a dry cleaner for dry cleaning rather than machine-washing. If that were the case, I wash it at home. When I went to pick it up, the employee said the manager would do an investigation and to come back the following day. I found out that the investigation was done by the same manager who decided to machine-wash a Moncler instead of dry-cleaning it.

      Anton's Cleaners took zero responsibility or accountability, and now we have to pay Moncler to fix their mistake. After taking a closer look at the jacket, we noticed that even the buttons on the hood looked like they were dragged down concrete. I understand normal wear and tear can happen in the sleeve or even in the zipper area, but how can the button on the hood also get ruined? That is because the jacket was put into a washing machine with many other things. We no longer have possession of the jackets since we want it professionally fixed by the brand so we do not have the same issue with another party, such as Antons'.

      We are sorry to hear that the customer is not satisfied with our suggested investigation and repair options. As with all of the garments in our care, we follow the brand's clothing care label instructions. 

      We understand that clothing is personal and wanted to assist with a resolution. Although we had offered to work with specialists, the customer has chosen to take the matter into their own hands. If we cannot review the coat in person to further assess damage and repair, then we cannot assist further.
