    I paid VTP Associates $3500 to draft a utility survey to locate the utility lines (sewer, water, gas) in *********, *************. In VTP Associates completed survey, they failed to plot out any of these utilities for my property. Further Details I signed and returned the VTP Associates proposal, including a $500 deposit. VTP cashed the deposit on August 8, 2022 and completed the survey on October 4, 2022. I paid the remaining balance ($3000) and then received the survey. Upon inspection of the survey, I noticed that there were no utilities for my property indicated on the survey, which was confirmed by my contractor. I then notified VTP of the problem to which they stated that my utilities all enter through the neighboring condominium association. I explained to VTP that there are separate sanitary lines and water lines for both addresses which can easily be seen by viewing the two separate basements of the two properties. Before and during the drafting process, VTP declined offers to consult with my contractor. Additionally, on the day of the site visit, I was home and offered the surveyors access to view where the utilities enter the premises, and the surveyors declined this offer as well. As of this time, VTP has not remedied this situation. The reason for the survey was to do excavation at the site. After VTP failed to perform the task as specified in the contract, my project was delayed by several months. Another company was hired to complete the work, which was then done successfully, but, of course, at an additional expense.
