    I'm filing a formal complaint for the following reasons: Despite my best efforts to reach someone at SCS Trash Removal (four voicemails and a hand-written note picked up by our trash collector), I can't get anyone at SCS Trash Removal to call me back and follow-up on my issues. My issue is that I provided SCS Trash Removal with updated billing/credit card to process our monthly trash collection fee on March 20, 2024, but they recently billed our previous form of payment ****************** instead. Not only that, they billed us for significantly more than we had been paying for trash collection per month with no explanation for the increase nor approval on my end to do so. As I looked back over the monthly fees increases, they went from $36/mo. which we had regularly been paying each month up to last December 2023. The monthly fee then increased without warning to $45 in January 2024, $46 in February 2024 and most recently $72 in April 2024. The resolution I'd like is to have is the charges reversed for the excess monthly charges in January and February, totaling $19, as well as the entire last charge of $72 reversed and put back on my ****card, given that I'd formally requested our monthly payment to be billed to a different form of payment on March 20th. Lastly, I'd like a final pro-rated balance based on the agreed upon monthly amount of $36/mo. to be calculated for trash removal services through our last trash pick up date, which was last Wednesday, April 17th, which I will then pay by check or cash order to close out my account and services with SCS Trash Removal. I notified SCS of all of these issues through voicemails left unanswered on April 12, 15, 16, and 19 and a handwritten not that I left for them and that was picked up on April 17th when they last picked up our trash. A letter that still didn't prompt a response from them.

    BBB Received the following message from the consumer: 

    The situation has been resolved. SCS Trash called me this afternoon (04/22). They intend to reverse the charges to my **** card. (Hopefully, they will. I think they will.) I've given them my updated billing detail to move forward. They were experiencing extenuating personal circumstances these past few weeks.
