    Purchased a 45-minute ride for a celebration on July 16 at 8PM, but unfortunately, the ride only lasted 30 minutes. The pilot said that the advertised 45-minutes includes time that we arent flying or on the tour, which is misleading. When I looked up reviews, others said that they were flying for 45-minutes, so Im not sure why my experience is suddenly different. The company stopped responding to my email when I showed them that I previously inquired about the duration of the tour before purchasing the flight. They initially reassured me that it would be for 45-minutes, but that was not the reality. Disappointed with the lack of transparency and customer support. Otherwise, the actual views from the ride were nice. Things would have been better if the company was more honest and better communicative of what they advertise online. I am not sure if the owner, *******************************, is aware of this situation, so thats why I reached out here.

    Our website states "private 45 minute helicopter ride from our home base at **** into the heart of Boston"  We do not say you will be flying over Boston for 45 minutes.  The pictures taken by the person making the  complaint were taken while in the air.  The flight over the city is approximately 15 minutes, start up and the flight into the city, the return trip to home base and shut down accounts for the remaining 30 minutes.

    Everyone that has posted on line about their 45 minute Boston tour has never flown over Boston for 45 minutes, the ********** time in the helicopter has been 45 minutes.  

    We will refund $100 by check if we are supplied with a name and address.

    Better Business Bureau:

    The business states that the entire ride is 45 minutes. From the home base and back, our ride was 30 minutes, so we didnt even spend the 15 minutes touring Boston as they stated in their reply. I sent screenshots of the time stamps of when we left the home base and when we returned (the total tour time), and those times DO NOT add up to the *************************************************************************** both before the trip and on this BBB platform.

Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    I had a complaint #******** to Boston Helicopters and agreed to the resolution of a $100 check being mailed to me. It has been a month, and I have received no update regarding the resolution.

    First it hasn't been a month.  The check was mailed August 8th.

    If it hasn't cleared after the long holiday I will reissue the check
